The Burden of Remembering

Lucem dismisses the other guardians when he returns to the Protectors' Hall. There is no point in continuing the meeting when Sephyrus is off somewhere to cool off. Goodnights and goodbyes are exchanged, and the guardians go on their own way. Chanjyushir volunteers to escort the sorceress back to her residence, so Lucem apologises to her once more for the disruption, and sends them away.

He stands at the stairs until their shadows are out of view, then he too, leaves. He doesn't know where he is heading to, he doesn't have a destination in mind. He just wants to walk. Perhaps walking would clear his thoughts.
