The Attack

For the first time Amara woke up alone. Her chest tightened and she felt dread. Had her family been so mad they didn't want to sleep in the same room as her? she could understand, she failed her duty she wondered if any single phenix's would want to be her mate after this. Amara knew she had to face her tribe today. She was scared and ashamed. How was she supposed to face them? How could she explain herself? She did her best to pull herself together and got dressed.

She opened the door to see her family waiting for her in the dining room her father saw her and said. "You have to explain exactly what happened to the tribe. We need to know what we are dealing with. " said her father while looking at her disappointedly

"There's no time to waste now that Amara is awake let us set out to the venue. "Said her uncle.

When they got to the venue the royal family walked onto a large platform.

"Tribe we have been found out by an eagle beastman everyone should remain calm but also be on high alert!" Yelled the king

Many different expressions were seen in the crowd. Some confused and other looked frightened.

Amara knew what-she needed to do. She stepped forward and said "Tribesman it is my fault I gave my blood to a stranger who claimed to be an abandoned beast-man then instead of being grateful became hostile and fled. I'm so sorry " immediately after saying this Amara started to see black figures in the sky heading toward them.

"FATHER LOOK " cried Amara while pointing to the figures.

"The eagle came back with reinforcements! Males prepare for an attack females head toward the royal villa at once! " shouted the king startling his subjects. No one dared to doubt their king and instantly obeyed his order the males quickly took to the sky to fend off the attack.
