Something That Burns
Charlie did look like a weak, thin, and slightly short man. However, he is not a fool. Seeing for himself what Hunter was doing to Denia in the room, had explained a lot of things to him.
The only thing Charlie was grateful for was the three days he had spent with Hunter without anything bad happening to him. He assumed that if Hunter was able to do such a painful thing to a girl like Denia, he must have the heart to do the same thing to a man, even worse.
Then, where is the difference between Hunter and the savages?
And… and maybe Hunter is a cannibal too!
After spending tense moments crouching against the wall, Charlie was finally able to summon up his courage. The only reason he could feel such tremendous anger towards Hunter, was because he had previously lost his older sister and mother.
