Something Happening

"Come on," said Alina. "You'd better go back to the facility building now. Just take a taxi."

"But, what about Alex?"

"There will be people from Akimura Tech who will accompany him."

Yu took a deep breath, "Alright. Again, I'm sorry for what happened."

"Just forget it."

After that, Yu returned to the Akimura facility building by riding a wheelless taxi. And Alina also re-entered the luxury vehicle that was waiting for her along with her fiancé.

Yu walked away while looking at Alina's vehicle. If only he was someone from the elite, he would have hit Alina's fiancé from the start. At the very least, one blow to his arrogant face he would give. And then, save Alina from her annoying life. Then make the girl his lover.

Too bad, Yu was just a layman from the lower ranks. His acquaintance and closeness with Alina were only due to the need for the mission he was about to undertake. No more, no less.

"I hope you're happy, Alina…" Yu muttered half inaudibly. No one would hear what he said even if he shouted, the taxi was flying low without a driver there. The vehicle slides automatically.

Arriving in front of the Akimura facility building, Yu was greeted by at least four people. Two are security guards guarding the entrance gate, one female security that Yu has seen, and a mechanic who is Alexander's co-worker, as well as the female security's cheating partner. Well, the two of them were a couple in love which Yu saw that night.

"Hey, Yu," said the female security. "We heard the news. You are okay?"

"Yeah, man," said the mechanic. "How's Alex's condition?"

"Alex is being treated by doctors," Yu said simply. After all, his mind was tangled with Alina and her fiancé's attitude towards him earlier. "He'll be fine."

"What about those street thugs?" asked a security guard.

Is that my business? Yu was about to say that, but he held it in. After all, he couldn't possibly vent his frustration on the four people who surrounded him.

"I don't know," said Yu. "I think they have been taken by the police. Excuse me, I'm really tired."

The four people looked at each other, then their gazes fell on Yu who moved away from them, and then disappeared into the building.

Yu was lost in thought for a long time in the bathroom, under the pouring water from the shower above his head. He was not upset with Alina, however, it was all a form of attention and responsibility from the girl as his supervising doctor.

However, Yu was very, very upset with the doctor's fiancé. The man was really arrogant, he thought. If only he wasn't bound by an agreement with Akimura Tech, perhaps Yu would have beaten the man to a pulp. After all, he doesn't care about all kinds of elite rules.

But, Yu was just a coward.

Also, about the street thugs who had injured Alexander. Yu remembered for sure that the thug was the same man as the man who was the leader of the four delinquents who had previously threatened him in the dungeon.

How did he survive being buried in the sand?

This question replayed in Yu's head over and over again. Are they all safe? If true, it means that among the street thugs who were arrested by the police, there are four others.

Irritating! Why don't they just die?!

Yu snorted in annoyance and punched the bathroom wall in front of him so hard that he could see blood dripping from the tip of his fist. The blood mixed with the water that ran down the wall, and disappeared into a sinkhole, in one corner of the bathroom.

Yu was annoyed with himself. He was so stupid that he became frightened when a fight broke out between Alexander and the street thugs. He became annoyed because he could not act more manly as shown by Alexander who was not the least bit afraid of facing the knife thug.

I'm nothing more than a coward!

The image of when his father and mother were beaten badly by street thugs as a child always appears when Yu faces events that lead to fights or robberies. Brings a feeling of trauma and fear to Yu.

Yu was getting angry with himself. At this moment, he hoped to just leave immediately, and fly to the Black Hole named the Black Eye, leaving all the annoyance and boredom of his life on Earth.

Meanwhile, on the luxury wheelless ride, Alina and her fiancé entered a luxurious and beautiful area belonging to the elite. The area is the area where Alina lives with her parents.

The vehicle stopped in front of Alina's parents' house. When Alina got out of the vehicle, her fiancé also got out and approached her.

"Don't you want to change your mind, Alina?"

"There's nothing for me to change."

"Hey," the man touched Alina's chin with his fingertip. "Come on now, don't be this cold to me. I am your fiancé, soon, we will be husband and wife."

Alina turned her face away by looking to the left, towards the street. "Come on, James. I'm tired and want to rest without being disturbed."

"I'm just asking you to stay overnight at my house," said James, as he tried to hug Alina's slender waist. "Was that a mistake?"

Alina could only sigh softly. It wasn't a mistake, she thought. It's just that Alina was already annoyed by James' previous attitude towards Yu at the hospital earlier.

"Besides," said James, "shouldn't you be living with me already? But no, you insisted on staying with your parents instead."

"Hey, I'm not in the mood to start a fight with you."

James raised his hands as high as his shoulders. "Alright, alright."

James landed his lips on Alina's, kissing those sensual red lips for a few seconds. He hugged Alina so tenderly.

Alina knew her fiancé was excited, that's why he asked Alina to stay at his house instead.

And when Alina's mind wasn't on the kiss her fiancé was giving, the fiancé suddenly let out a short moan.

"James?!"

James winced violently as if he was in great pain from inside him.

"What is it? What's wrong, James?" Alina tried to hold her fiancé's shoulder, which seemed to be about to fall. "Hey, don't scare me!"

James could only groan, then fell into Alina's arms. James looked about to say something to Alina, however, the intense pain was clearly showing on his face making it difficult for him to talk.

"Dad…!" Alina screams for help. "Mom…!"

Two people came out of the mansion in a hurry to hear Alina's screams. They are Alina's parents.

"James?!" cried the mother.

"What happened?" asked the father.

"I don't know," said Alina with a pale face and full of concern. "James just collapsed all of a sudden."

"Call an ambulance," the father said to the mother. "Hurry!"

The mother ran back into the house while the father replaced Alina to hold James, the middle-aged man was still strong enough to lift James into the house with the help of Alina.

"Hold on, James!" he said.
