No Different

Yu followed in the footsteps of the mechanic who introduced himself as Alexander earlier. Alexander told Yu many things as they walked in the middle of the night crowd in the city.

Well, Yu couldn't help but smile at the experience of the mechanic who proudly said that he had copulated more than a thousand different women.

"Aren't you afraid?" Yu asked a little curiously.

"Afraid?" Alexander repeated. "What is there to be afraid of? Their boyfriend? Their husbands? No, man. It's a free city, free life. You can fucked any woman you want—well, as long as those women want to, for sure."

"No, Alex," Yu said with a deep breath. "That's not what I mean. Sexually transmitted diseases. Aren't you afraid of getting infected?"

Alexander laughed at Yu's words, he even shook his head as if what Yu just said wasn't something he should be afraid of.

"I assume you are not afraid," said Yu later. "Or, maybe you don't care about your health at all?"

The mechanic laughed even harder. "Oh my God, Yu!"

"What?"

"Everything is so sophisticated nowadays, Yu," said Alexander. "Don't you realize this? Or do you not know at all? What century are you from?"

"Hey, come on now! Don't make fun of me like that!"

"All right, all right," said Alexander after he was satisfied with laughing at Yu. "I mean, have you never heard about The Healer?"

"Good grief…" Yu smirked as he shook his head slightly. "Don't tell me you also used the serum for your pleasure?"

"Of course, man!" said Alexander so proudly. "It's everyone's dream serum. Even though it is expensive, everyone will definitely be scrambling to get that magic serum."

"That sounds pathetic to me."

"Don't tell me you don't want to get the serum?"

Yu shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows? I just haven't thought about it—I mean, with a better mind."

"A better mind, you say?" Alexander laughed again. "Oh my gosh, Yu. The serum itself is a better thing for humanity—especially, for us, a man. Do you know?" he said with an eyebrow that rose and fell rapidly. "You're going to be a wild, vicious man in bed with that serum. Trust me!"

"I thought it was just a rumor," said Yu, who immediately remembered what Alina had said about the serum called The Healer. "Nothing more than a suggestion in your mind."

"No, man," said Alexander. "More than that. You will know if you have injected the serum into your body."

"Yeah, maybe it is," again, Yu just shrugged his shoulders. "But, just forget it!"

"Hey," Alexander patted Yu on the shoulder, then pointed at a large bar. "Let's just go there.

"But, I didn't bring a penny with me?"

"Relax, my friend!" said the mechanic. "For tonight, I will treat you. Think of it as an expression of my gratitude in the first place."

"Your gratitude?" Yu frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Hey, aren't you going to enter that Black Hole?"

Yu nodded. "Yeah, that's the purpose of having me at the facility."

"Well," said the mechanic. "That means, you will go on a mission for the sake of science. Let's call it a humanitarian mission."

"You're crazy!" Yu chuckled.

"No, I'm serious, man," Alexander said, looking left and right before finally leading Yu across the street. "You're very brave, and I appreciate a brave man."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. I just simply followed."

"Cool!" he said and this time patted Yu on the stomach. "Come on, let's go inside!"

In front of the bar entrance, Yu and Alexander stood in line, waiting to be able to enter the bar.

There were two big guards at the door of the bar, each holding a device. The devices scan every special card brought by those who want to enter the bar.

Alexander took out the same special card from his wallet and then scanned the device in a guard's hand.

"He's with me!" said Alexander while pointing at Yu who was lined up behind him.

"You're quite generous, huh?" said the guard.

"Hey, he's my friend," Alexander smirked, he turned to look at Yu. "Come on, Yu, let's go in!"

The guard snorted softly. He didn't care if Alexander brought a friend, girlfriend, or whoever it was. To him, as long as they could afford the entrance fee and enjoy all the pleasures the place had to offer, he didn't care at all.

As soon as he entered the bar, at the front, Yu only saw several couples enjoying drinks in their hands at the tables that had been arranged in such a way. Looks elegant and romantic.

Is this some kind of cafe or restaurant? Yu thought.

And when he entered the next room, Yu could only stroke his chest. The beat of the music seemed to be able to crush his chest. The smell of alcohol, and the smell of sweat from the body that danced to the beat of the music, really almost made Yu vomit.

"Are you serious?" asked Yu who had to shout so that Alexander could hear. "I have to enjoy this inconvenience?"

"You've got to get used to it, man!" Alexander replied by shouting too and then laughing.

"This is so crazy!"

Alexander continued to walk among the snaking bodies of half-naked, even more completely naked, especially the women on the low stage in front of three disc jockeys. And Yu was forced to follow the mechanic's footsteps while holding his breath.

They went up to the second floor, and Yu was getting dizzy seeing what was in front of his eyes. Not only because of the sound of music that can be heard, in the middle of the second floor, there is a kind of space where you can see the floor where people dance happily down there, but because of people having sex without any privacy on this second floor.

This is so annoying, and ironic, Yu thought.

No, it makes no difference. Except, maybe they did all that stuff in a say, cleaner place. Or maybe they think they are doing it more elegantly?

Alexander chuckled looking at Yu's face who was watching the people copulating with their pleasure.

"You want to do something the same?" asked Alexander. "I'll find some girls for you if you want?"

"Nah, just forget it!"

"All right," said Alexander, "we'll just go this way!"
