Yu took a deep breath. He smiled at his thoughts.

"What did I expect?" he muttered as he leaned back casually in his chair. "A wise saying says, humans can only plan and try, the rest, God is the one who determines everything."

In two and a half months, I'll be face to face with the Black Eye, he thought. And after that, death will come for me.

After all, there is no guarantee at all that I can survive the celestial body with the strongest gravity ever known to humans, while light alone cannot escape from a Black Hole, especially since I'm only a creature that has a real physical form.

Yu smiled again. He didn't know why, but clearly, he didn't look scared or worried at all about the fact that he would die soon, maybe even a second after he entered the Black Hole.
