The Beowolve's moods got worse as they listened to the voices; if any of these scenes were true, the entire thing was heartbreaking. Sounds of children being killed by their parents, lovers lamenting in despair from killing their partners by mistake. People murdered their friends as they believed they moved to save them.
The list went on; even Joshua started to falter the more he heard. Thankfully they did not see any figures in the cloud, and the voices didn't sound human. Otherwise, they would have been lost in the darkness. As he knew his squad was waiting for his commands, Cain eventually started talking.
'We will now start to clear the garden. The bladed shield would be like a lawn mower; Our targets will be all the Noxious Piranha Traps and walking trees. We will destroy all the wives, husbands, and Forest Voice we come across, but they are secondary.
