Chapter 14:Bloodhairs victory

The army of Dane's multiplied by 4x the size they where amounting to 180 men 90 from the side and the archers at the back along with 30 horsemen along with hood hairs army on the front.

But suprisingly the army on the side did not attack.

"SHEILD WALL!"

They got into 2 sheild walls.

Odas confusions grew as he ordered his men to stay and not retrace but the morale of his men were alresdy destroyed and some of the were running back to the fortress.

"Lord why are they not attacking?"

"I don't know."

Soke of the soldiers were foolish enough to attack the Danes that were still in the shield wall when horses where heard.

Multiple horses jumped over the sheild wall.

But when oda saw this it was to late.

The horses circled the Saxons but didn't attack them and the men in the sheild wall stayed in the sheild wall.

Bloodhair and his men then pushed forward and killed even more of odas men.

The men in the sheild wall then rushed at the army and surrounded them pushing them as the circled them.

"DO YOU SURRENDER!"

"Never!DIE HEATHEN!"

Oda reached out to stab bloodhair in his neck but was slapped by the back of the sword on his head.

The Saxons had no choice to surrender to the army of Dane's and lord odas fortress had been captured by bloodhair who now had a foothold in east Anglia and Wessex.

Bloodhair was not stupid he had to play his cards right and with his seers warning of Rogat he knew he needed to kill him as quickly as possible.the only problem was when?and how?

"If only we fought them before!"One of the Saxon soldiers said as he punched the cage.

"PLEASE SPARE MY CHILD PLEASE!"

One of the Saxons solider said as he watched one of the Dane's hump his wife and kill his child as he laughed like a savage.

The Saxon soldier held onto him as the men cried.

"Hey!don't cry!reinforcements will come alright!we will escape this place and kill the heathen bastard!"

But the other Saxon solider still looked Ded pressed after seeing his wife be played around with mercilessly by the Dane's and his child killed.

The wedding was quick suprisingly quick.but Isealt wasn't easy to convince to marry kjartan.

Flashback

"Are you mad?you would let another man have me?"isealt asked with a look of confusion and betrayal.

Rogat cupped her face "aww do not worry you will be powerful you will be like a queen you will have men under you and kjartan can't be that bad in bed right?"

"No I won't marry him! I AM NOT SOME PAGAN WHORE!"isealt said.

I then strangled her and put her against the table before then cupping her face gently.

"But you see, you have already been fucked by scorpa and I really have no love for you apart from the fact that your a good hump!"

She looked at me fearfully.

"So either you marry kjartan and become a powerful women and all you have to do is share his bed and deal with his small penus and satisfy his desires or I will make you slave but not before letting you get humped by every man in this fortress so CHOOSE!"i said in a calm voice with no hesitation.

"Ok fine I will marry him."Isealt said as she looked away from me.

"That's a good girl."

"Well then, I shall return to my fortress no doubt that the Saxon lords shall be delighted at my return."kjartan said.

"Well, kjartan may this alliance last long and may we be the best of freinds."

Kjartan smiled as he said "we shall see Rogat,we shall see."

He then rode out of Winchester with his men but not before admiring the defences of the fortress and looking for its weaknesses.

He also left some of his men in the fortress and said they could be useful to me.

Though among them there was a preist, perhaps I could learn some more about his travel and other languages as the world of the last kingdom never really explored that much.

I then looked at the preist and smiled which caused shivers down his spine.
