Chapter 29

Eyan shut them into a floodlit chamber with four chairs and a hover-platform. He chose a chair at the end of the platform. He made a sharp nod.

“Ozla was going to get the most precious treasure,” Raylay spilled. “The one everyone in the galaxy wants to find.”

Relda gave Raylay an icy stare until he glanced at her with the corner of his eye and scooted his chair away.

“You DID know who Eyan was,” Relda called him out. “You’re a liar.”

“Please, Princess,” Raylay begged. “Now is not the time.”

Eyan slammed his knuckles into the platform. Raylay shrank back.

“It was to pay you for the girls and the rest of the army,” he said.

Eyan peered through the entrance, and typed the code into the digipad. The doors shut them into confidence.

“I know,” he murmured. “I located it on Anmer."

“You did?” Ty butted in.

“When it was stolen from the temple, the Dialorians were alerted. Qor is their deity.”
