The Wrath of a Friendly Celestial

As night fell, everyone had gathered for the wedding. Archimedes was dressed in his traditional elven groom outfit awaiting his bride. However, across the dimensional plane, Flight had managed to rip a hole into their dimension. He had the Troopers marched through and took the bride hostage, but Flight grinned and marched her down the aisle.

As the music changed for her entry, Flight was holding his energy weapon to her neck.

"Honestly, this is almost tragic."

"What the hell."

"Easy big guy, any sudden moves and I'll kill her. YOU are at MY mercy now."

"Polaris?"

Polaris stepped in front of Flight blocking his path. The variety of elemental troopers beat him and severely wounded him.

"Pol...." Belvidere was cut short by the Earth Trooper grabbing her by the skull and slamming her head into the wall.

Polaris crawled over to her as the elves stood paralyzed in fear. Belvidere was still breathing, barely. The Earth Trooper tried to kick Polaris but his foot melted before reaching the solar celestial.

"Why.... Why Flynn? WHY MUST YOU DO THIS?"

"You are all property of Flight-Tech Industries and you're all coming back with me." Flight tosses the bride over to his guards then marches up to Polaris.

"You aren't strong enough to stop me, you and your pathetic bitch will watch as I carve you all up. Then, I'll gut her in front of your eyes."

Archimedes tried to stop the now standing Polaris. "Wait, Polaris, don't...."

Polaris shoves Archimedes away from him. "So, this coward wants my TRUE strength? Fine."

Polaris manipulates gravity to push his friends and the elves to one side of the room. He begins levitating in the air, his once human-like body disappearing revealing his celestial form. He was a golden, white and blue form. His head had begun to resemble the stars he'd been named after.

The Earth Trooper began making his way over to Belvidere when Polaris struck first. Solar tendrils impaled the trooper, then ripped the molten metal life core from his body.

"W-wa... How did you.."

"Flynn Jameson, you believed I was weak... I was simply acting as hero should.... I was holding back. This time, I will not spare you, nor those you brought with you. You have only yourselves to blame for this." The tendrils eviscerate the Earth Trooper before everyone's eyes. Polaris eyes go white as the tendrils march him forwards. The Eye of Jupiter fully visible to everyone as he began ripping apart those who'd come to enslave everyone.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this.... He's a hero.... Heroes don't kill..."

"FLIGHT! SNAP OUT OF IT! FIRE YOUR FULL POWER AT HIM! WE CAN STILL WIN THIS!"

Polaris appears before the Cosmic Trooper. "NO. NO YOU CAN NOT."

Cosmic is torn to shreds before Flight, who is quivering in fear of the being he'd just released.

"RUN! YOU BETTER MAKE YOUR DEATH INTERESTING... FLYNN JAMESON!"

Flight takes to the skies only to have his wings and engine ripped out of him as if it were his spine. The remaining troopers tried to get the Celestials attention, and attention they got. Polaris clenched his fist, using nothing but gravity to erase their bodies and souls from existence.

"I am Polaris Sol Luna. I am the Solar Hero, Leader of Fort Wilderness, and the last living celestial on this plane of existence. You are all worthless, insignificant specks of dust in comparison. I wanted to play this out as the hero, I really did. It's just more fun to watch you all cowering in fear realizing just how fucked you all are."

His voice cracked and split into a dueling voice, one similar to his normal voice, the other dark and demented enough to give a haunting demon psychological damage beyond repair.

"I have been alive for eons... AND YOU THINK YOU'LL MANAGE TO END MY EXISTENCE?"

Flight could barely stand. The heat radiating from Polaris was far more than his synthetic body could handle. One of the troopers ran to kill Belvidere, but found out what extreme loyalty can cause one to do. Polaris's tendrils dragged the trooper to him. The entire way to him, the trooper was screaming bloody murder. Once Polaris had him close enough, another tendril punched through the elemental soldier's chest and tore his organs into thin slices. Once the soldier was almost dead, the tendrils pulled him apart, splattering blood all over Flight and those who were still standing.

"Flight... He's insanely powerful. It's do or die. Fire your energy at him!"

Flight musters up all the power he'd stored within him, and fired it from his chest. The green beam of energy slams Polaris in the chest creating a massive explosion. The darkened skies lights up as if it were day time for a moment, before a skull splitting demonic laugh cuts their looks of relief into sheer terror.

"Ha.... HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA, EXCELLENT FLYNN! THAT WAS A GOOD HIT! UNFORNATELY I AM FAR STRONGER THAN YOU CAN FATHOM."

Polaris's tendrils gripped Flight and pulled him to to face Polaris directly. "I believe one of your human scientists put it best...."

Archimedes and Veldspar had managed to get Belvidere to wake up. They joined the elves in watching their celestial protector finish what Flight had started.

"I believe it was Oppenheimer who said, "Now I am become death... the Destroyer of Worlds." Flynn, I thought about allowing you and your kind to die at my hands, but clearly this shall serve as a much more... Efficient example."

Polaris fires off what seems to be a minor solar flare at the portal tear. Flight watches in horror as the energy enters the portal, and the once humming portal had fallen silent. Polaris pulled Flight up to his face. "NEVER RETURN HERE."

Polaris unleashed the full energy of two stars and a moon that he'd been born attached to. Flight's body melted and crumbled into pieces of shrapnel as Polaris used the Eye of Jupiter to execute the remaining troopers. There were nothing but blood stained patches of land where they'd once stood. Polaris held up what remained of Flight and meteor threw him down to his dimension. The impact created a crater 40 miles wide, ending their civilization as they'd known it.

Polaris's body began to feel the effects of such a release of energy. He grabbed the edges of the portal and shattered into dust. Once the tear had sealed, Polaris free fell to the ground unconscious, unaware that everyone had been watching....
