Part 4 (4)

The landlord Paddy rewrote the world's map and placed Great Britain in the south of Swaziland, seventy kilometers away from Mankayane.

The Mistress of the house Pola thought that her lovely British husband had gone as he used to do, to the airport to take the next flight to his home country.

There was an emergency. Well, that was what the baron Paddy told his wife Pola who had blind trust in him and wished him a safe journey to London.

The poor woman had no idea that her old man had fallen in love with the former maid Tinah or blue eyes like most of her colleagues called her and had rather taken the road to Mahamba, the village of origin of the young bewitching beauty.

In less than two hours, the baron arrived in the tiny community of Mahamba in a yellow taxi that he hired as soon as the driver of his black Mercedes dropped him in front of the airport's main entrance and did a U-turn to go back to the manor house.

On the way to Mahamba, the baron had taken some precautions so he wouldn't draw too much attention since he was a Caucasian amidst brown dark-skinned villagers.

If the landlord Paddy couldn't change his skin color, at least he could dress in a casual way that wouldn't betray too much his social rank and stature.

Therefore Paddy removed his extravagant attire while he was in the cab, namely his light gray three-piece suit, and wore a polo and jeans that he picked from his suitcase.

He looked more now like a tourist who came to contemplate the beautiful view and sceneries of the countryside and meet with the nice and warm local people.

By doing so, the baron buried for some time his image of a successful entrepreneur with an aristocratic background.

Upon his arrival, great was the surprise of Paddy when at his exit from the taxi that randomly dropped him at a corner of Mahamba, his eyes locked on the irises of a woman who looked like the young Tinah.

The only issue with her was that she had gained weight and her stomach was huge. So for the baron Paddy, it couldn't be Tinah, not after just six months since her departure.

Human beings changed but the landlord thought that this was the fastest Metamorphose he had ever witnessed. So he looked away and then turned to pay the taxi driver's fees.

When he was done doing so, he heard someone exclaimed in his back: "Master!"

Mr. Paddy was struck, for he was very familiar with the voice and that was that of blue eyes Tinah. He excitedly turned to look on his behind and saw the same woman with the big stomach he was looking at some moments ago.

The baron was shocked and nearly fainted as in an instant he understood everything that had happened in the past six months.

He was moved and tears cascaded down his white jaws. He embraced the pregnant woman and they walked up to a small house in front of them.
