7 Chapter seven- Village

Turning around I see Bai Qing Qing looking absolutely flabbergasted. Thinking back though didn't she have a huge fear of snakes? She also saw my hubby shift, yeah she's definitely thinking a mile a minute. "Well introduction seems to be in order, how about I'll go first name is Ares and this lovely snake is my mate Quinn" putting on a friendly smile to Bai Qing Qing I wait for her to speak. Her eyes seem to widen as she takes the cue only to be interrupted by Parker. " I'm Parker from the leopard clan, though female are you sure the feral isn't a threat? You truly choose him as a mate because you wanted to?" You know I have to admit I'm kinda shock he stopped at all considering how bad the snakes reputation are. Hearing he's genuine confusion and concern I made a point to hold my man's hand as I speak in a clear voice making eye contact with Parker. " I genuinely care for my mate and I was the one who chose him as a mate he didn't at all forced me into anything, now that your question has been answered Parker; miss what's your name?" Now looking at Bai Qing Qing waiting for her to say her name, so I won't have to worry about any name dropping I obviously shouldn't know of considering for her this is our first meeting. Though first meeting in real life that is true, but from the manhwa in her perspective I have a hella good grasp on her as a person.

"Oh my name is Bai Qing Qing though Ares do you have any idea on where we are at?" Her eyes shine brightly with hope, but I give no hope considering I myself don't know why I appeared nor do I want to leave not only because I don't want to, but I don't have any idea on how to trigger leaving this world. Even if I knew who's to say the world I'll end up in is even my own? "I'm sorry Qing oh wait can I call you Qing?" Smiling sheepishly as I remember how formal Japan is compared to America. Smiling she nods I start to feel Quinn eyes on me and I can tell he's most likely bored of this conversation. "Parker didn't you say your from the leopard clan? is it nearby and if so do you think it's possible for me and my mate to stay for a bit?" please say yes oh pretty please with a cherry on top. Feeling my slightly begging eyes he nods slowly as he frowns at Quinn. " I''ll put in a word female though as long as he's mates with you I'm sure it will be okay."

Now that everything's been settled the stories beginning definitely turned out differently Qing first off doesn't have mud caked on her. I never liked or would ever approve of Parker doing such a disgusting act. Immediately when we had stop near that mud pile I knew what I had to do. "Parker do you know that where me and Qing is from slapping mud on one's face or trying to make a partner disfigure looking means your a horrible mate and that pretty much you aren't confident enough about yourself." as I'm talking I hear a soft gasp coming from Quinn she realizes why I would ever mention it. He's obviously favors her me and her both know it with how he caters to her and blush, and also he is very blunt making snide comments a couple of walks back of him calling her he's mate since he quote on quote found her first. Good thing he took my comment seriously because after that he told us how close we are to the village as he shifts back into he's animal form Qing getting back on him though I can tell she's uncomfortable with the ride. As for me my lovely Quinn hugs me close to himself princess style as he's lower form is shifted to he's beautiful snake form. He hasn't spoken to them at all I've been speaking for the both of us. Could it be he doesn't want to stay in the village? but he knows sooner than later It will be best to find other potential mates. Though of course I don't plan to immanently search for a mate till me and Quinn are official mates I don't ever want him to think he's not important or that my interest of him is gone. sighing to myself I look at him only to realize he's been watching me; he's eyes ah what is he thinking I can't read him at all? " shouldn't you look ahead I wouldn't want us to fall" I say with a laugh as I lean my cheek on he's chest. " The village are you wanting to look for new mates already?" Speaking softly and gently as if he's asking about the weather. In other words if I say the wrong thing I'm raising a red flag. Nipping this flag in the bud I reply honestly. " No I don't plan to invite another mate to our family till we mate officially" He's eyes seem to light up as he smiles gently to me head leaning downwards. Lips touching mine arms slowly tightening around me. He's kiss so addicting I don't even want to stop my arms circled around he's neck. I can't breath it's so suffocating pulling myself away as he let's me go I can only laugh as I think how he not only metaphorically takes my breath away, but quite literally does too oh so deliciously. "I love you I care for you a lot so please don't think otherwise" He's only reply is a soft thank you as he whisper he's love you's in my ear. I didn't even realize our stop in our journey till we continue onward to the village. Already seeing it in a distance I begin to smile in excitement the future never seemed so bright.
