A knock echoed on the door of my cabin. I was doing my daily 300-push up routine. I stood and grabbed a towel from the cabinet. Wiped the falling sweat and put a large shirt on. My cargo pants were folded halfway up, while my hair is in a ponytail.

I opened the door.

"Greetings General Qin, General Lee sent me to inform you that he'll be needing your assistance in the field by 1:00 PM."

Sounds interesting, what surprises does he have for today? He doesn't usually call me for help especially in the field to train or to held an arranged human exercise with the troops. I wasn't even informed that he's going to conduct one, so what is he planning to do?

"Are any of the troops joining us this afternoon?" I asked curiously

"General Lee did not give me the specifics like the usual, he just wants me to relay that he needs your help General Qin"

I nodded and dismissed the soldier.

By 1:00 PM?

Specifically odd...

It's a resting time for the soldiers patroling the area so why would he drag me to an unguarded place? And even sent Lieutenant Colonel Tang... to relay the details. Something must be suspicious.

I took a brief shower and wore my uniform. I need to get to the security system and check what's happening. The cabins area alone will take me five minutes to get to the central control building.

Along the way my colleagues greeted me.

Everything around me screams unusual, like something's about to happen and my gut tells me that I'll be heading to battle in a moment or so. And with longer strides I reached the elevator and pressed 5th floor.
