Chapter Seventeen: The Plot

"Excellent. You're getting much better with the scroll", Zash commented proudly. The wise Wizard had just finished training the Prince on how to better understand his new powers.

"I must. Princess Sasha needs me. We have to save her, Zash", Avery answered looking closely at his scroll.

"We are healing, and more healthy now. I believe we must train and stay alert for any possible changes. Azackton seems to like more, the element of surprise", said Toru walking up to them.

"Either way, Avery is right. The girl must be saved", Zash replied pensively.

"Well, now that your training session is over, we should start a discussion", Halu said, heading back to the castle's entrance.

When everyone was seated in the entertainment room within the castle, the meeting commenced.

"If this fiend, Azackton has not yet, besieged our city, I believe he is planning on doing so very soon", Avery began.

"I sense an enormous amount of power emitting from his dark throne", The prudent wizard stated stroking, his beard.

"Are you certain that he will not kill the girl?" Asked the concerned Zauhn.

"I don't think so, yet. We have to do something before he does", Avery replied determinedly.

"You're showing tremendous bravery, my son, King Zarash said.

But as you already know, our young Prince is head over heels in love with the youthful princess, Sasha.

In his mind, Avery had already decided to do whatever it takes to rescue his true love.
