Still an asshole

A few days later.

Calliope was back to the capital City. Last few days, she had been so busy with work that she had no time to breathe. She was back to duchess duties. The meeting with the genius man she was supposed to meet was cancelled at the last moment for some reasons. 

Currently, she was inside her house in the capital city reviewing some paperwork. She had been away from her duties for so long and now it was taking a toll on her body. However, she couldn't ignore her duties now. 

"Dyke, I have sent you paperwork with some modifications," Calliope said to Laxamus over the call. "If there is nothing that needs my urgent attention, I will hang up."

With this said, she hung up the phone.
