"Green or blue?" I turn around and look at Aliyah who is holding two dresses up. I look back into the mirror to tie my hair. "Blue." Aliyah nods "Yeah, what made me think green suits me? Also, you should keep your hair open." She walks up to me and removes my hairtie, creating a tingling feeling in my neck. I turn red and hit her hand "You can't just touch me like that idiot" Aliyah laughs "I am your older sister!" I roll my eyes because that's what she always says! Technically we are not sisters. Aliyah is not even older than me, she just behaves like an old married woman ever since we were kids. And for some reason she thought acting as if she adopted me from a shelter would be a good idea. I brush my hair, suddenly she slaps my brush out of my hand. "You can't brush your hair. "What now?" I shout confused. "You can't brush curly hair!" she shouts back in a high pitched tone of voice. Aaliyah is always like this. Like all the other princesses she cares about things like appearance and how to take care of your hair texture, while I just want to put my hair into a ponytail or even just shave it off. I live in the city of heroes. A place where everyones destiny is to achieve something big that will save humanity. There are different types of achievements and heroes. The regular ones who do good deeds, got an archnemesis and got some sort of special powers. Princesses, like me, who also have some sort of power but whose main purpose it is to give people hope and a good feeling. And then there are princess who have to save the princesses in case they are in danger, which usually happens at least once in every princesses life. In our world princesses have the highest rank since they have to do nothing but get adored by everyone. The lowest rank have villains. Especially the witches since they have big power but sre almost meant to live miserably till the end of their days. So basically, one would consider me lucky. I would too if I wouldn't feel miserable already.

Aaliyah puts my hair in a bun and smashes a handmirror into my face. "Look, you look beautiful! Just like…Prince Castiels bride!" she starts so giggle while I start whining and hitting my head "Don't! Not me and this guy!" "Why not? He is the most goodlooking and charming prince in the whole country!" A new voice appears and I turn around. It's another princess, Celeste. Celeste had, just like Aaliyah beautiful straight hair and is always smiling. The difference is that Celeste is a bit…dumb. Not in a bad way, just in a way where she doesn't know a lot of things. We all look into the mirror in front of us, the two picture perfect beauties and me. "After the ceremony, you will be the most beloved princess the world has ever seen" Aaliyah says looking at our reflection. I smile awkwardly. "Yeah, sure" I reply with a sigh.
