Pairing Legacies

Zamir was getting old. He was approaching his forties and various hidden pains and ailments of his body were starting to resurface.

Although his body was still lithe and lean as ever, his stamina and flexibility was no longer as it used to be. He could not afford the expensive Mytherium Solutions that could reverse his aging process, and his position in the Grandeur fell gradually. 

Just in a few years, Zamir was demoted from R3 member of the Guild to a mere senior R1 member responsible for nannying the newbies. The Guild also found every possible reason to cut his salary and his income fell from a 100k Musk a year to a mere 12k a year. 

This made him acutely aware of the fact that he was getting on in his years and the Grandeur Guild no longer valued him. 

In his twilight, he decided to stand against the Guild he had given most of his youth to; A Guild which had kicked him to the curb as soon as he could no longer function at his best.
