Averion

Starfiend Continent, Star City

On a bed lay a young man with smooth Brown hair, a 6/10 body, a four-pack, a blue t-shirt, and black shorts.

The young man got up and looked around, then yawned and starts stretching to crick his bones.

"Time to get to work"

The young said.

After washing up, the young man changed into a red shirt with a tag on it saying King and black pants.

The young man named King then took up the two keys off the bed and left the house and locked the door with the key then went to the garage and opened the slide revealing the SUV Honda Odyssey.

Meow!!!

Splat!!!

A cat with its heart missing came flying past King onto the garage walls.

Blood and guts went everywhere.

King looked back in fear a saw dozens of humanoid cockroaches with metal plating.

Behind the swarm was a purple and black portal tall enough for a human to go through.

King's neighbors started to panic, while King froze in fear as one of the monsters slowly approached him.

After over 2 seconds of staring at the monster, a voice spoke from nowhere.

[King ability awakened]

King wished he had the ability of these monsters to be able to survive in almost any situation.

Suddenly, King didn't feel the need to breathe. Metal-plating-covered King as he felt his bones start breaking, and his muscles becoming more compact and powerful.

King dropped to the ground in immense pain as his skin drops off and a replaced by metallic armor.

After the worst ten seconds of his life, King stood up in a cold sweat.

King looked at himself, feeling the immense power surging through his body.

King looked up to see the claws of a monster crashing straight onto him like a cannonball.

Bang!

King shot out, crashing into the back of his car.

Boom!

King got up blood dripping from his face with immense rage bolted off toward the swarm.

King's speed was at least 2 times that of the legendary Cheetah, swung his fist. The speed of the punch plus the weight of his fist slammed into the monster.

Bang!

The monster was sent flying back into the swarm of monsters.

"Is This power what an ability user feels, it's incredible"

King said, feeling the pure raw power rushing through his body as his eyes glowed golden as rushed out towards the swarm.

King's speed was around Mach 1.876786 as he swung his fist and kick, piercing the head of the monster and sending him flying with that, King then dodges a jab from the monster he hit not long ago, then grabbed the monster's arms and ripped them off.

After that, King then headbutted the monster, killing it.

A few minutes later, King was on the ground, heavily injured and surrounded by hundreds of monsters.

"There are too many monsters, I can't defeat them all"

King said, ready to die at any moment.

"Huh, what is this sudden increase in power that I am feeling?"

King said as he shot up from the ground with immeasurable speed.

King suddenly turned and avoided a punch from a monster, then pierces it with his bare hands.

Suddenly, three black figures landed near King, and they were decked out in scale armor.

"Those three are the big three who are said to be the peak of F-rank"

"The person to the right is Scarlett, she possesses the C-rank ability of energy body"

"The man to the right is Barry, and he has the C-rank ability basic gravity"

"And the old man in the middle is Iron hammer, the leader of the three who possesses the D-rank ability Enhanced body"

King said, as the old man looked at him and nodded before rushing onto the battlefield with his compatriots and his trusty hammer of titanium.

[Ding!]

[Detected the Host isn't satisfied with his current ability]

[Would you like to Add Mutate Evolve or Amplify?]

"Can I mutate and evolve the ability?"

King asked in excitement while thinking in his mind.

"Why am I not freaking out right now, it is as if I am in an endless meditative state"

King remarked in his mind.

[Yes]

Sounded like a mechanical prompt.

"Okay do that"

King said.

[The Ability Cazscelium is mutating...

[Mutation successful]

[Mutated D-rank ability projective armor is evolving...

[Evolution Complete]

[C-rank ability Projective Armor]

A brown layer of energy enveloped King.

"This power is amazing, I feel as if I can easily punch a hole in a 5-inch (12.7 cm) thick steel plate"

King said with a smile.

King then held onto the fire hydrant near him and ripped it out of the ground, causing water to spew out and go everywhere.

Then he jumped high up in the air or 120 ft (36.58 m) to be precise, then he swung down with the fire hydrant towards the beasts.

Bang! Boom!

When the dust cleared there was a small crater and in the crater was a pile of monsters who were now dead.

King leaped out of the crater and saw that there were only around 12–24 monsters left out of the original 450 monsters.

So King rushed towards a small group who also rushed towards him and without him knowing his Neon energy had been accumulating the whole time releasing more power than ever before causing a blue wave of energy to rush out and destroying everything within a 20 meters radius.

"What is this power?"

King said in disbelief as he looked at the surrounding area which is now a crater.

[Neon energy is currently at 1%]

[Warning the host will fall unconscious upon using all of his neon energy]

[Find a safe place to rest up before deactivating powers]

King upon hearing that quickly thought of a place and disappeared and appeared a few hundred meters away from his previous area.

King passed many advanced buildings, implying that this world is technologically evolved.

After a few minutes of running, King appeared to stop at a cabin that looks to be quite a distance from the city.

King walked up to the door of the cabin before taking out the keys from his pockets which were bent and broken, but through sheer main character luck the keys for the cabin were not broken, only bent.

So King used the littlest amount of power he could bend the key back into place, not perfectly, but hopefully enough to open the door.

King inserted the key and then twisted the lock as the door opened then he entered the cabin and locked the door then went over to the fireplace and with his ability lit a fire by rubbing the two sticks together.

King sat on his chair and started to feel very sleepy.

[Neon energy has been depleted]

[Entering Sleep state]

That was the last thing King heard as the brown layer of energy disappeared.
