XAVIER SUMMONS ALGER

Arjun and others formed a small meeting with their team members. No one were in the mood to have any casual talk. This is especially the case for the people who are holding the Golden Pass in their hands.

Most of them were going crazy at the moment. They couldn't understand what exactly they were supposed to do.

Even though the pressure on the other team was not as high as the pressure on the head of the Golden Pass holders, they still had some pressure on them. And after listening to the Province Lord, a thorough discussion was very important.

But there were only two teams who weren't involved in any discussion. These two teams stood there motionlessly as if nothing has ever happened. It was as if nothing here has anything to do with them.

One of them was Bruce, the one man army. And the second one was surprisingly Star Moon Team.

Bruce was a one man army. And he was definitely the favourite number one for everyone for the championship. So he doesn't need any introduction. Since he is a one Man Army, him silently standing at one side was understandable.

But what about the Star Moon Team? They should be involving In a thorough discussion as the province Lord made things very clear for them. And yet, they were standing without any discussion as if this competition has nothing to do with them.

Even the audience and spectators were having a messy discussion among themselves. And yet a champion team from a small city is behaving like this.

The spectators and the other teams were in the world of their own discussion. So they didn't see them not involving in any discussion.

But this is not the case for the judges and higher officials of the eagle province. The silent attitude from the star moon team has certainly grabbed their attention.

"Who are they? Don't they understand what kind of situation they are in right now?"

"That's right! The administration decided to give them a precious one hour worth of time to make a decision. And yet, these people are not utilising it at all. How arrogant!"

"We can understand about Bruce. After all, he is the one man Army. So Bruce staying silent had a good meaning behind it. And yet these people are doing the same. As if they were thinking themselves equal to Bruce."

"You people...! Sigh! How could you compare Bruce with these bunch of country bumpkins? They will definitely pay the price for their arrogance. All we have to do is wait. The show in the future will be worth watching."

For this higher officials from the province, the champions and other contestants had no meaning. For them, these people were here to just fill the numbers. They had no other purpose for being here.

So when Arjun and others were standing just like that motionless, these higher officials felt that they were arrogant to their bones. And when the competition starts, everyone will understand about what true strength is. And they will certainly understand that they were actually the frogs in the well if they think that they could take on anyone just because they become the champion in the preliminaries.

But there was one person among the higher officials who was looking at them with great interest. Nobody has ever paid any attention but, this person always paid his attention on Arjun and others.

"Alger!" ,Province Lord Xavier called, "Please come here!"

Alger, the city lord of the Solar City immediately stood up. He has really walked and stood respectfully behind province Lord Xavier. He bowed his head in salutation and said, "Subordinate Alger pays his respects to the Province Lord!"

"Take a seat!" ,Xavier casually said.

But Alger didn't immediately sit down. When Xavier found that Alger hadn't taken any seat, he frowned. He then looked at Alger and found that Alger was hesitating to take a seat.

"What's wrong?" ,Xavier asked in confusion.

Alger hesitated. But he had to give an answer. So he said, " it's not that I want to disobey your command, my Lord. But I think that I don't belong here. My rank in the office is very low. And I know my limits."

The other higher officials from the administration know that their heads in agreement. It seems like Alger knows his limits after all. And that is a good thing. One should always know their place.

"You are overthinking it." ,Xavier shook his head and said, "When I asked you to sit, I didn't mean that I am promoting you or something. When I asked you to sit, then you should sit. Because I have something to talk to you. It is about the official work."

"Then I beg your pardon." ,Alger hesitated. But he eventually made his decision. He took a seat and sat down. But he was not sitting comfortably as he was surrounded by higher officials of the city.

Looking at all this, the clan leader of the Ravan sect frowned. Even the clan leader of the silver wolf sect who was sitting on his seat was lost his thoughts. But both of them didn't care much about it as it has nothing to do with them. All their attention was on the youngsters from their sect.

Xavier said, "Tell me. Which one among them is Jimmy?"

Alger took a sigh of relief. He was anxious all this time as he was wondering why exactly the province Lord asked him to take a seat beside him. Since this was about Jimmy, he took a sigh of relief.

"Sir, that person is Jimmy." ,Alger pointed his finger in the direction of the Star Moon Team. He pointed his finger especially towards Jimmy who was silently standing beside Arjun.

Xavier sized up Jimmy. He then nodded his head in agreement. He felt as if this Jimmy was special as he couldn't see through him at all. Only those certain talents could hide their cultivation base from others.

"He is special." ,Xavier nodded his head in satisfaction.

"He is indeed special." ,Alger said, "But that Arjun from the barbarian clan it's also a special one as well. His combat abilities were really very very good."

"Oh?" ,Xavier asked, "Then you tell me. In which format they are going to participate in the competition today?"

"If you ask for my opinion, then, sir, I am very much sure that they will participate in the competition through the combat means." ,Alger said.

"How could you be so sure?" ,Xavier asked with a smile on his face.

"It's what the feeling I have after seeing them for this long." ,Alger said, "I don't know why. But this is what my gut feeling is telling me. My heart told me that they will participate in the competition through the combat means."
