BLOODLINE POWER

Looking at Bruce's silence, Arjun smiled inwardly. He knew that his plan was working. Or at least, it is going in the right direction.

He felt that Bruce was worth grooming for the final fight he will have with his brother. Or the final fight he might have against the enemy bothering his Old Geezer. He doesn't even know whether Old Geezer really had any enemies or not. But if he had, then Arjun had to prepare from now itself.

Arjun rarely chooses his disciples. He never trains anyone based on their talent. He trains others based on their loyalty and personality. He trains others based on their character.

Previously, he trained Julian, Zofra and others based on these criteria. Everything went fine. The only regret is that, when Zofra went and took the darkness path, Arjun was disappointed. But it doesn't make Zofra any bad person. Whatever it is, he will definitely fix zofra's issue when he had enough strength. He thought about it inwardly.

And Arjun felt Bruce is one of them. In fact, his character is not only good, but he is also a genius with bloodline power. The only difference is that, he trains by keeping revenge in his mind. If he managed to overcome this hatred and trained himself to become the peak expert of the cultivation world, then everything will be fine.

But what will Bruce do after he took his revenge will be the factor to look into. Will he continue his cultivation journey with same level of hard work? Or he will stay relaxed? This is the matter to worry about.

But all these things are to be vary of in the future. As of now, all it wad not even sure thing whether Bruce will join him or not. So all he could do is to stay calm and try to rope him to his side.

Arjun said, "You stayed with them. You know about the Raven Sect's people. This is just my speculation. But what if the Heavenly Raven Sect also played their part in destroying your Scott Clan?"

"Impossible!" ,Bruce rejected this immediately. He said, "The Heavenly Raven Sect has always been the loyal faction for the Scott Clan. There is no way they would do such things!"

"Ha ha ha ha ha! How naive are you?" ,Arjun smiled loudly and said, "Then let me ask you something? It was well known fact that back then, even among the three hegemonies of the God Realm, the Scott Clan was the strongest one due to their bloodline power. And they were destroyed overnight? Don't you feel something was wrong in all this? If the Scott Clan was destroyed, then the Heavenly Raven Sect will become the free bird. With many junior generations joining them, they will become overlord of a small empire like the Wing Empire!"

Arjun continued, "Even if you disagree with me, you should know it by now that the Heavenly Raven Sect is no longer showing any interest in defeating the enemy of the Scott Clan. I am even presuming that even in the current time, the only person who seeks revenge for the destruction of the Scott Clan was only you. As for others, you should know it by now that they are enjoying the position of the overlord of the entire empire."

Bruce gritted his teeth. Even if Arjun didn't mention it, after witnessing how Raven Sect maintained their attitude regarding the revenge for his Scott Clan, Bruce always felt that they never showed any interest at all.

But he still had a doubt. He asked, "If that is the case then, why did They Save me and mine people back then? If Heavenly Raven Sect really played dirty and backstabbed my Scott Clan, then I don't find any reason for them to save me back then to begin with!"

Arjun smiled and replied, "What you have said is absolutely right. The Heavenly Raven Sect doesn't have any reason to save you despite their betrayal. But what if you have something precious which forced them to save you?"

"Something precious?" ,Bruce did not understand what exactly ai meant by that. So he asked, "What does that supposed to mean? What precious think I have which forced my enemy to save and nurtured me?"

Arjun replied, "Your bloodline!"

Bruce was shocked. He can't deny Arjun's reply. In the ancient days, almost all the clans and organisations possessed the bloodline power. But with every generation, the bloodline power started to become more and more thin. And as of today, not every person could awaken their bloodline power in a clan. This is a situation which bothered all those clans with bloodline power.

But whoever possessed the bloodline power always displayed major advantage during a battle. Due to this, the evil people with evil intentions tried to capture the people with the bloodline power and did many experiments to steal their bloodline power.

When Bruce heard this from Arjun, he had no reason to refuse or deny it. And because of this, Bruce felt a tinge of disappointment within his heart.

Arjun continued, "You should know it by now that the other members of the Scott clan might have become the subject of experiment for the bastards from the Heavenly Raven Sect! So let me ask you a question. Did you ever displayed your bloodline power in front of your sect's master or elders?"

Bruce remained silent. After a while, he shook his head which indicated that he never showed it to anyone.

Arjun smiled and said, "See? This is the reason why you are still alive today. And they felt it ironic that you haven't awakened your bloodline power till now with the level of talent you have displayed. And even if they cared about your clan, they wouldn't have set such a harsh conditions for you to join the Heavenly Raven Sect."

Bruce sighed. He said, "I never wanted people to know that I am actually as a descendant of the Scott Clan. If people saw my bloodline power, then they will definitely think or talk about the disaster which the Scott clan faced. And it will put me in despair. So I never wanted to display or talk about my bloodline power with anyone."

"And this precise decision what saved you till today." ,Arjun said, "Or else, there is no need for me to tell you what your fate would have been if you have displayed your blood land power in front of everyone."

Bruce looked Arjun with some serious gaze. He asked, "Forget about my sect for now. You tell me. What exactly were you trying to accomplish by telling me all this? What exactly is your plan? Don't hide anything from me when things came to this extent. I want everything to be cleared off."
