Inside a moderate size cottage styled house,

A woman with blonde hair picked up her phone and began dialing a number.

*Ring* *Ring*

Seconds later....

A voice answered immediately, the voice had a deep-tone as it said

"It's just like as you said Alexandra."

Alexandra who was proud of the boy had a happy expression on her face as she then said;

"I told you so Kobe."

Alexandra was the one that orchestrated Kobe's visit to the practice game. Even with the Dean's money, Kobe could simply say no because he doesn't lack any money.

Alexandra knew what Akihiko would encounter very soon, it's the fact that he would become complacent. Not only that, with his level of play he would get demotivated because no one could compete against him.

But with Kobe's help, this will make Akihiko change his mindset. Akihiko will continue to try to improve seeing the huge gap between him and a bonafide NBA legend.

Alexandra had a smug expression on her face as she couldn't bare to see a talent like Akihiko losing his wings.

She then expressed her gratitude as she said

"Hey, thank you for taking the time even though you have a busy schedule to check out that kid."

Kobe then replied

"No, I would like to thank you instead. It was worth it to see a kid like him. I don't doubt your ability to see talented players, so when you said you may have encountered the most talented kid you've ever seen. I've ought to check it out."

Kobe then continued

"Anyways, I've got to end the call. I have a game in like an hour. Goodbye."

The two exchanged their goodbyes as they ended the call. Alexandra was still satisfied at the outcome. Right now, she was confident at winning the championship with what she had at the moment.

The next day.

It was now the start of the weekends as Akihiko was walking around the streets, looking for anything that he could spend his time.

Akihiko walked for a couple of minutes until he reached a local park. From there, he was able to see multiple people playing basketball.

A lanky teenager was dribbling the ball as he was against a taller and heavier foe. It was a conventional 3v3. Akihiko sat on the bench as he was curious of what was going to happen.

Akihiko overheard some of them saying

"Man, these guys are absolute dogshit at this game."

"That scrawny little kid will get beat up by his defender."

The lanky teenager, with quick handles passed through his defender as he reached the rim. The lanky teenager then went for a lay-up, only to be blocked by his defender that he thought he passed by.

With the heavier defender jumping, he landed directly at the lanky teenager; crushing him.

"What the fuck?"

The lanky teenager's teammates immediately went to assist the lanky teenager as the other team talked trash to them.

"Guess he can't handle playing streetball. With two players you guys lost the bet right? You'll let me sleep with your girl now right?"

The tall guy's teammates went on to say

"He's an idiot for accepting the bet in the first place."

The one with the glasses, who is one of the lanky teenager's teammates said

"We'll find another teammate then!"

The tall guy agreed as he said

"I'll accept, but we're going to be the ones to choose your sub."

The one with the glasses nodded as the tall guy began looking for anyone. The tall guy then pointed his finger at; me.

'I'm going to fuck this guy up.' Akihiko thought as the tall guy approached him.

"Hey shrimpy, play ball with us or else."

Akihiko didn't answer as he went on the court, ignoring the tall guy. This provoked the tall guy, but his teammates were there to stop him doing anything that can harm another person.

"Tch."

The tall guy clicked his tongue as they went on the court as well. Akihiko was then approached by his two teammates. The one that talked to him first was a guy with curly hair

"Hey man, sorry for involving you in this."

Akihiko gestured his hands to say that he didn't mind. Akihiko then said

"Just pass me the ball."

The two just nodded absent-mindedly.

....

It was finally the start as Akihiko was on the offensive. Akihiko held the ball as the tall guy guarded him. The tall guy then tried to get into Akihiko's mind as he said

"What are you going to do shrimpy?"

Akihiko had a blank look in his face as he began to move. Akihiko then went for a sharp jab step that made his defender immediately react. Akihiko took advantage of this as he then threw the ball directly at his defender's face. The ball bounced right off his face to once again, Akihiko's hands.

This provoked the tall guy as he rushed towards Akihiko as he defended more aggresively. But Akihiko didn't even mind as he simply dribbled the ball through the defender's legs. And when the defender reacted to that, Akihiko had a smirk on his face as he snatched the ball back.

This defender fell down immediately as some watchers went like

"Damnnnnnn!!"

Akihiko looked down on the poor guy as he shot the ball

*Swoosh*

The ball went in as the tall guy was visibly frustrated at what happened.

Akihiko's teammates looked at Akihiko with admiration as they were visibly satisfied at what happened to the tall guy.

Akihiko once again held the ball as the tall guy angrily said

"I swear to god, I'll make you go home crying to your whore of a mother."

When the people around them heard what the tall guy said, they turned to look at Akihiko. Akihiko had a very cold look on his face as he heard what the tall guy said.

Akihiko then dribbled the ball loudly as he began his next move. The tall guy will learn not to mess with a devil such as Akihiko.
