I had spent the first day here at school reading the map that I had been given with books. The place worked in a loop so if you started on one building you would end up back there when the day ended. Not only that but the stuff in the books I already new. It was about combat training and basic casting cards. So when I woke up and got dressed in my uniform I read a small letter on it.

"Due to having possession and creation of a five star creature we have granted you your own personal uniform tied to you. We were told you were wearing a dark blue coat and that your battle name was lightning. As such we made the color a bright blue and instead of a basic jacket you have been given a long coat instead." I read aloud astonished this was how things worked here.

The coat was a bright blue and I had a white shirt to go with it. The coat itself was light and had a small cuff around the neck. It reached down about a inch from my foot and had two pockets on the inside to place your cards into. I walked out of my room wearing the coat and a pair of blue pants that reminded me of golf pants.

I walked into the school building that was the second large building and made my way to classroom 230, in the school it meant floor two room thirty. I rounded the halls as students looked me like I was either crazy or amazing. Considering that when I made the owl card me my hair turned a light blue it seemed everything went well together.

"Can't believe he doesn't have to wear these things all because he had a some strong card." I heard some mutter to a friend after I walked by them.

The normal school uniform was a white coat and pants with a tie of the grade you were in. White meant you were a first year. Black meant a second year. Bright blue was a third year. But a black and blue mixed tie showed you were a fourth year.

When I entered into my classroom it seemed that there were about twenty seats and only ten other students here. They looked at me as I walked to the back and took a seat near the window.

"Hello class. Today we will begin the basics by learning the foundation of spell cards." Our teacher said with enthusiasm has he wrote his name on the board spelling out Mr. Oliver.

He went through having us open our books and and started showing us the work.

"Okay can someone explain how one casts a spell card." Our teacher Oliver asked the class.

Several hands shot up but not mine seeing how simple a question it was.

"Yes you there." He said pointing at a girl with long black hair.

"The name is Elina and you cast a spell card by putting a little mana into it and that's all there is. The spell was already prepared you just have to start it up." She said with a smile.

"Correct indeed. How about this then. How does one go about activating the fusion of two spells." He asked and only four hands rose.

"Names Jacob and to fuse to card spells you must hold them together and pt mana into both while forcing the properties to combine. However some things can't combine together such as fire and water." Jacob said happily showing how smart he was on such a simple question. But to be fair we were all thirteen in this class.

"Okay kids you know the basics like that. But how about this one." He said flipping the book pages forward.

"How do the elements effect each spell and the gods favor with each." He said and no one raised their hands.

"Seriously no one knows." He said and then my hand lazily rose up.

"Yes boy please tell us." He said happily.

"Well to start elements effect a spells effects. Such as a fire spell might deal burning damage even after the spells ends. But if it come to contact with a water spell a degree below or above it is nullified on contact. But if you gain a gods favor on a card that is gained by creating the card and showing its full potential in a battle than a god will give it his or her favor. Such as before with the fire and water spells, if the god of the Sun Apollo known for his light and fire would to give the fire card his favor then the fire spell would become much stronger and easily burst through the water spell." I said dryly and rested my head on my hand.

"Well you really do know your stuff." Mr. Oliver said a little shocked but the students looked at me in slight awe, about how someone could know this at such a young age.

"Correct. How do you know all this." He asked me.

"I have studied since I was six just about every day from history and magic to battle tactics and various weapons." I said as I stretched out my arms.

"Wow and your only thirteen. Please feel free to pitch in whenever you like" he said and brought everyone back to attention.

We continued to study in our books with Mr. Oliver glancing at me from time to time.

After about a hour and a half the loud bang went off to alert everyone it was time for our next class. I walked out the class as everyone watched me like I was some sort of king. I walked outside the back and entered into the training arena.

"Hello today class. Today we will be learning to use the most basic weapon the sword." Our teacher said.

He went ahead and paired us with each other. There was thirty of us in total all holding basic wooden training swords.

"So what's your name." The boy I was paired up with asked.

"Kingston and yours." I said flatly as we touched swords.

"Hoover" He said and we both took a step back.

I started off with with a basic swing and he parried it as our swords hit I let my arm spring back and spun my body around and gave a swing with my arm extended hitting him hard in the arm.

He fell to the ground clutching his arm. When he tried to stand up I I backed away a little thinking about how weak he was.

"Again" He said.

As such we went at it again and this time he lasted for about a minute before getting struck in both arms and being flipped onto his side by the force of the swing on his leg. I could tell from how he looked that his pride had been dealt a blow.

"One more time." He said getting up shakily.

We went at it four more times before he just laid in there exhausted and with bruises and small cuts all over him. The other students had stopped to see what was happening.

"Clearly your quit good with the sword Kingston." My teacher said walking by the students.

"Maybe I should pair you with someone more on your skill level. How about Zach." He said and Zach stepped forward. He wore his blue tie with pride and was much taller than me. It seemed he was about two years older considering his grade and that meant he was most likely fifteen.

"So your the kid that's challenging me."

Another chapter will come out later today and maybe two more. Enjoy the book as this weekend I’m doing a chapter run meaning expect about ten or more chapters this weekend.
