The Dinner

*Jack's POV*

My patience is being tested as i sat in the dining table's chair waiting for my mate and her sister to come down. It has been minutes since i sent Gemer to fetch them from my room. Her father is sitting quietly on my right side, beside him are two of my pack member Jonil and Michael. Beta Matias is sitting opposite to me and so the three empty chairs on my left side is for Gemer and the two ladies, my mate and her sister.

Three of my best pack warrior's are outside on guard duty as we are always vigilant for our safety. Few more minutes have passed when I caught her scent getting closer, my nose slightly flared and my eyes a little sharp as i stare at the wide entrance of the dining room.

"Oh Daddy, I'm so glad you came".

Here she comes rushing towards her father as soon as she gets inside the dining room. In response her po father quickly stand up and met her before she could even passed behind me. I groaned in protest but i stay seated in my chair.
