Tobias leaned close to Hazel and whispered, "You look beautiful."

Hazel looked ahead to watch the priest give his speech. "Thank you," she softly responded.

They were backing the guests at the moment so no one would know what they were doing, and the priest didn't seem pleased that they spoke during his time for speaking. 

"You look more handsome today. It must be that you pushed your hair back. Sorry," Hazel apologised after the priest looked her way. Perhaps he could only ignore short sentences?

Tobias chuckled over Hazel acting like a scolded child. He longed for this to be over with so they could speak to each other. Why wasn't it more common for the newlyweds to go off somewhere alone instead of speaking with the guests?
