A sharp pain attacked me in the chest and my whole body trembled. Inside of me, the power of my wolf was tumultuously making havoc. In my mouth, I tasted my blood, indicating that some of my organs were suffering internal bleeding.

'Damnation!' I internally cursed as a cold sweat fell down my spine. The pain that I was feeling was enough to make an ordinary werewolf scream. Fortunately, I was used to this pain. As I had been feeling it ever since that moment when my father passed the power of his wolf to me.

And as long as I don't use or hold into that power, the pain would only become worse and worse with each passing day.

It was the price to pay for possessing a power that could ruin the world.
