The Truth part 2

It had been a month since Jack had last opened his eyes. His family had almost lost hope, but they never gave up on him since they where sure he will wake up since he was healthy and Mrs Williams dreams and word confirmed it.

After a week passed, true to Mrs Williams words, he woke up at 4pm in the evening the next day.

 As he slowly regained consciousness, with his eyes heavy and swollen struggling to focus he couldn't believe what he saw. A white room, the walls of his hospital room were covered in white with the air smelling as what a hospital normally smells.

He layed there, his body weak and unresponsive, the weight of the past month pressing on him like stone which weighted tons.

Jack's mind was blank devoid of any memories. He had no recollection what made him in this state.

Confused and disoriented, Jack tried to remember what had happened. That's when he saw blurry figures hovering over him, a warmth radiating from the figures, his parents smiling at him, tears of joy streaming down their faces.

"Mom...Dad..." he rasped, his voice was dry since it's been a month that he spoke.

"Am I in the hospital?", he asked for confirmation.

They confirmed that he was in the hospital and explained that while Jack was in a coma, a lot happened.

While his dad was explaining he felt his mom's hand tighten around his, a silent message of encouragement.

"Son, during this month the doctor confirmed that you had a psychological problem that's why you didn't wake up", his dad explained.

"They asked us what happened before you fainted. We explained that you watched the news with us, of Joker being active again", his mom continues the explanation while caressing Jack's hair.

Mr Willams continued,"so the doctor guessed that Joker had to do with your coma and the police also intervened and asked us if you had a traumatic experience before....".

" But it's okay we explained everything to them. Baby when you are better we can go home", Mr Willams what to add more details but his wife cut him of and glared at him for a few seconds before she turned to her son and continued her husband's phrase while she smile sweetly at Jack.

"And don't worry the doctors and the police won't border you or question you since we explained everything thing", she said after a pause.

Jack saw his mom glaring at his dad earlier. He knew that she wanted to protect him but, he already new the truth since he recovered his memories while he was sleeping.

"Mum...", he paused. Drawing the attention of the couple.

"About what dad was trying to say earlier, I...", his mom cut him off as she tried to make an excuse on her husband's behalf.

"Your dad was trying to scare you, don't mind him silly the police won't question you or detain you", she explained not knowing that he already new the truth.

Trying to make more excuses Jack held her hands to stop her from talking and to meet her eyes since was avoiding eye contact.(She always does that when she lies).

"I am adopted",he will maintaining eyes contact with his parents.

They was a cold silence in the air the atmosphere became tense in an instant.

"I.... I .... I.....", Steve Williams, Jack's dad tried to say something but he couldn't say any words out.

The three of them started crying shading tears. Kai stopped Lisa from entering the room when the heard a commotion inside.

Outside the room where a group of people which were more than 20 in numbers including Lisa, Kai, Lay, Jessica, Mike, the twins Peter and Paul, the triplets Alexa, Sky and Theo and Lucas. There where waiting and eager to enter and see the state of Jack.

Though normally it was not allowed but the attending nurse made an exception for them after Christian talked to the nurse privately for one hour.

Back to the room.

After the three calmed theirselves down, they asked the question on their minds.

"My son how did you know?", asked curiously since they were the only ones who knew the truth.

"When I was in the living room with everyone yesterday, I mean a month ago, after I saw the news I was in a trance at that moment. All of a sudden I couldn't control my body at all", he paused as he was reminiscing the event.

Then he continued with his explanation,

"Images of the the past came flooded on my mind and I couldn't break of my trance is like I was forced to watch, it was like a movie on replay".

They both nodded their heads understanding that he just regained his memories.

"So.... You don't want me or love anymore then", Vanessa said to him jokingly but in her heart she was not. She was worried that he will decide to leave her for his biological parents.

He gestured for his dad to come closer and sit on the bed like his mom did then, he held their hands together with his and said sincerely,

"It's ok, am fine about it. Just you know that I will always call you mom and dad even though I know you aren't my parents, thank you for everything, really".

They were very happy so they did a group hug

When all of a sudden, Lisa burst open the door entering impatiently as the rest followed.

Groaning she said, "what was so important that you guys talked for hours"

"Oh we where discussing", Vanessa replied not bothered about the action of breaking and entering by her daughter.

"About what", she ask curious about what discussion was made.

"I just found out I was adopted", Jack said nonchalant.

"Oh okay",she replied

But when she and the everyone processed what he just said

Everyone screamed, "what!!!".

Not understanding the situation Mr and Mrs Williams explained to them.
