Joker Is Caught

After the surgery Jack slept through the day, he was feeling tired and he was also in pain a little bit.

The next day he woke up feeling refreshed and better. When he looked around there was no one in the room.

He wanted to see if he could go back to his original body. So he closed his eyes and concentrated but he stopped.

On a second thought he decided not to because what if someone comes in and sees him transform. And the other reason was that he remembered on the Korean dramas he watches there is always a security camera in the rooms.

He looked around the room and while pretended that he curious about the room, looking at the walls and windows.

Then ureka he spotted the camera. There was only one in the room and it was located on his right, the ending of the room by the right side of the window above in the corner.

Though there's only one the camera provided recording for the whole room view and it was 360°. The only disadvantage was that you can back the camera, what you do can't be seen at all which was a very huge disadvantage.

Jack praised himself for being smart and he gave himself an invisible pat on the back.

Seeing the cameras qué didn't try to see if he could change his from.

At that instant his mom and dad came in to check on him. When they saw he was awake they were glad.

His mom stayed with him while his dad went back to call the doctor to inform him by speaking to a nurse on duty.

It didn't take long for a doctor to arrive. This time around it wasn't doctor Phil it was another attending doctor in wards that was checking in on patients.

The doctor checked his vitals, body, plus the chart on him and announced that he was ok, he just needed time to recover from the place where the surgery was done and that's it.

After they thanked the doctor for their hardwork on the treatment before the the doctor and nurse left.

"How are you feeling, are you in pain?", Vanessa asked worriedly.

"No am not feeling any pain at all I pretended because of the doctor", Jack revealed.

"It's because of your abilities right?", his parents affirmed understanding why he pretended.

If it was before he would have felt pain but now he's back to himself ne was numb to it. Not that he had 'Channelopathy' nor was he a psychopath....well.. maybe a little bit but the reason is because he was constantly in pain in the past that he just couldn't feel it anymore.

Vanessa bought out food she made for her son smiling.

"Eat before it gets cold I made your favourite home made pancakes with nata cream and caramel syrup on top, just how you like it", she said.

Hearing the food made his stomach growling so he quickly fitted on his bed to eat.

While eating he and his parents are watching the television which was currently showing the latest news of the day.

"We where just informed by our reporter Julian that as we said just know that Joker who was in the run for 10+ years was seen at the alley of Baker Streets in London just an hour ago by a local around the area".

"The the unknown person who's name doesn't want to be known by the public, immediately called the authorities seen the suspicious movement of Joker after they confirmed the identity, and decided to be a good and honourable citizen by calling the closed police station to make the report".

"The authorities in response to that went immediately to the area where they found the suspect Joker going through an ally".

"He currently at the police station for questioning. Stunne in of this channel for more updates.

"Thank watching have a great day".

The male and female newscasters reported the news in a slow down paced speech, carefully enunciating each word while smiling professionally.

While the three listened to the new they where to stunned to speak.

In shook Jack spat out the water he was drinking. After calming down he continued to listen to the news.

After it ended, the trio stared at eachother in silence.

Since they didn't know what to say his went out to take coffee since they were tense.

"Son would like coffee too?"

"Dad, you you I don't like coffee that much"

"Your dad thought you would have a change of heart because of the sudden news. Do you want anything to drink then?"

"Then I will have another bottle of water...a bigger one this time and vanilla shake or yoghurt. Thanks mom and dad, ohh and you guys can take your time, you know am feeling ok. Am saying it so you don't come back in a rush. Am referring to someone in particular".

"Fineeeeeee....We will be back soon. Anything at all give a call, okay?"

"Okie dokie. See you guys later and don't miss me too much".

His parents playfully rolled their eyes at him and smiled, waiving good bye to him.

After they left him alone he couldn't help but wonder what was going on.

He had many questions like who was impersonating him and why?

Was the person and enemy or an ally.

And if so what do they want from him.
