2 Chapter 1- Our MC's Short Arrival

In his room, Kazuki wondered "why did she make a big fuss upon receiving one coin?"To be exact, Kazuki is quite an airhead. Though he is a genius on games, he doesn't care about society. Besides, the only thing he plays are dating games and adult games.

Suddenly, he heard a knock from the door so he opened it. He was surprised to see the girl that helped her standing there smiling. She was wearing an apron and was holding a basket. He thought the girl left after dropping him at the entrance. Perhaps he was wrong.

"U....uh...th...these are for you."

The girl gave him the basket with a flushed face. When he opened it to see what's inside, he saw burnt cookies.

His head was telling him about the dangers if he ate the cookie but his heart is telling him to eat it for the girl's sake. He gulped gown his nervousness and took a bite. He had never tasted a cookie this good in his life. If someone said she's the best baker he wouldn't object, but that's not the case. Though i looks like a disaster at first, it was something you can't get tired of eating one you try it.

"H.. how was it?"she asked with a flushed face.

"It's delicious. Are you a baker perhaps?"

"N...no actually it's my first time baking cookies."

He couldn't believe what he heard. If the girl said she was a baker no doubt he would believe her. Some might think that when it's your first time baking, it will probably come out burnt and bitter, but this girl ruined that logic.

"It's a thank you gift for giving me the platinum coin."

"Hope you don't mind me asking but....how much exactly is that coin?" Since it's his first time in this world he doesn't know the value of stuff, but giving that platinum coin without knowing its value is a pretty dumb thing to do.

"Huh?! You gave it to me not knowing the price?"

"Y...yeah."

Once again he showed his air headed side.

The girl explained the current currency and it turns out that the estimated value of a copper coin was 100¥, silver (1000¥), gold (10,000¥), large gold ( 100,000¥) and the platinum which is worth 10 large gold coins with an estimated value of (1M¥).

He thought "so I gave her a million yen?" He slapped his head knowing he has a pouch full of it. He could buy a small house or stay in a high class inn, but he didn't. He gave it to a girl as a present, and that's still a pretty stupid thing to do.

"May I join you in your adventures?"the girl suddenly asked out of the blue.

"I want to but...I don't know my magic affinity yet." he knows that he has high affinity for magic but not knowing your specialty can be troublesome.

"So it means you're not registered at the guild?" the girl asked acting all shocked.

"Sadly....no."

"Pardon me for saying but... you're an airhead." she said without second thoughts.

"W...wait! You mean it?" Kazuki was shocked in what he heard. This was the first time someone said something so insensitive towards him. Not even his virtual girlfriends and rivals told him that.

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

Finally. Someone who is willing to knock some sense into our MC's head.
