Season 2, Episode 10: Chaos Returns

The Justice Brigade was walking across town, enjoying their sunny day. Daisy said, "Man, it's been quiet lately. There have been no bank robberies, jewel thieves, or common destruction by monsters lately." The town then started to get set on fire, so The Justice Brigade got suited. Heatgirl and Aquaboy used their powers to extinguish the fire, while Sungirl and Iceboy saved the people in the fire. After rescuing everyone, the people responsible for the fire showed themselves. Once they did, they couldn't believe their eyes, so they gasped. Sungirl said, "The Chaos Brigade?" Heatgirl said, "But that's impossible." Iceboy said, "We sent you to a maximum security prison after we beat you." Shula said, "Yep. Well, you can't stop a good thing, babe. Now it's time for us to destroy you." Aquaboy said, "Are you sure you guys are ready for another beating." Lily said, "We'll see who gets beaten." Iceboy said, "Enough. Talk is cheap. Let's do this."

The Justice Brigade and The Chaos Brigade flew up to each other and split up like they did last time. Shula and Sungirl fired their Laser Vision at each other, but they were too evenly matched. Heatgirl shot a Heat Beam at Lily, but Lily fired a Rainbow Beam at Hetgirl, and both of their beams were even. Iceboy pinned The Shadow Devil to a building with icicles, but The Shadow Devil escaped by sliding off the building. Then he grabbed Iceboy, but Iceboy froze his face with his Ice Breath, and The Shadow Devil let him go. Tech Head fired lasers at Aquaboy, but Aquaboy fired water at Tech Head's lasers and blew them up. The Justice Brigade re-grouped, and Sungirl said, "Ok, guys, we need to work together. We're too evenly matched one on one." Iceboy said, "Yeah, a little teamwork should give these guys a workout." The Justice Brigade then put their hands together, combined their powers, and shot a blue superpowered beam at The Chaos Brigade. Shula said, "Come on guys, two can play this game." The Chaos Brigade put their hands together, combined their powers, and shot a red superpowered beam at The Justice Brigade. When both beams met, they were two evenly matched. Then both beams exploded and shot The Justice Brigade to the left side of town and The Chaos Brigade to the right side of the city, and all eight landed on the ground. The Justice Brigade and The Chaos Brigade flew back toward each other, and Sungirl said, "Ok, guys, I think we know what we have to do. Now, let's give it to them."

Shula chased after Sungirl, but Aquaboy took Shula by surprise and kicked her away. Then he splashed her with water like he did last time. Tech Head shot Aquaboy away with his guns, but Heatgirl smashed his pack like she did last time with a fireball. Lily then made flowers grow from the ground and tied Heatgirl to them. Iceboy then froze Lily's flowers like last time and broke Heatgirl free. Then Iceboy hit Lily out of the sky and froze her feet to the ground. The Shadow Devil grabbed Iceboy, flew him upward, and tossed him across town. Sungirl then blasted The Shadow Devil with her Sun Beams like last time and tried to make him lose his powers. Then she kicked him, and he fell to the ground. The Chaos Brigade then got up, and The Justice Brigade got confused. Shula was soaked, but her flame powers were still working. Lily's feet were frozen, but she broke free from Iceboy's ice. The Shadow Devil was sunburnt, but his shadow powers were still working. Tech Head pushed a button on his glove and used a claw from his pack to remove Heatgirl's fireball. Shula said, "Looks like you four are the fools this time." Sungirl said, "How'd you do this?"

Shula waved her hair and said, "Waterproof conditioner and skin lotion." Lily said, "Thermal villain costume. Capable of withstanding liquid nitrogen." The Shadow Devil brought out his sunblock and said, "Sunblock capable of withstanding 10,000,000 degrees." Tech Head said, "Fireproof equipment." Shula said, "And now that we've fixed our weaknesses, this isn't over." The Shadow Devil said, "We're just getting started." The Chaos Brigade flew towards The Justice Brigade, and The Justice Brigade flew towards The Chaos Brigade. Shula then shot fire at Sungirl and knocked her out of the sky. Lily trapped Heatgirl in a flower rope, and when she let go of it, Heatgirl slammed against a light post. Iceboy couldn't find The Shadow Devil, but then The Shadow Devil snuck up behind him and hit him out of the sky. Tech Head then lasered Aquaboy and shot him out of the sky. Once The Justice Brigade was piled up on each other, Sungirl got up and told her team to get up. The Chaos Brigade then flew to The Justice Brigade, and Tech Head shot a hole beneath them and sent them down into the sewer. Tech Head said, "Ha. That was too easy. What a bunch of morons. Now that they're gone, you guys want to get pizza?" The Justice Brigade then flew up out of the sewer, soaking wet. Sungirl said, "I wouldn't count us out just yet. Because, like you said, we're just getting started."

After The Justice Brigade returned, The Chaos Brigade decided to work together. Tech Head shot lasers at Aquaboy, but Aquaboy jumped and kicked the lasers off Tech Head's pack. The Shadow Devil tripped Aquaboy, and Tech Head shot a rocket at the ground, making him fall into the sewer again. Heatgirl said, "Aquaboy!" Heatgirl flew into the sewer after Aquaboy and went looking for him. Tech Head then shot a rocket at Iceboy, but Iceboy froze it. Tech Head shot Iceboy into a trash can with one of his lasers. Meanwhile, Lily was fighting Sungirl. Lily kept trying to kick Sungirl, but Sungirl tried kicking Lily back, but she hit her foot away. Lily said, "You fight like a boy." Shula said, "And now you're going to beg like a dog." Shula shot Sungirl with her Laser Vision and slammed her into a dumpster. The dumpster then dropped on Sungirl and smashed her.

Heatgirl and Aquaboy then crawled out from the sewer, Iceboy got out of the trash can he got hit into, and Sungirl crawled out from under the dumpster that slammed on her. Then they looked around and saw The Chaos Brigade was gone. Sungirl said, "This is bad. With those four on the loose, anything can happen." Heatgirl said, "And with their common weaknesses cured, how will we beat them?" Sungirl said, "I think I know. Because two can play their game." The Justice Brigade went to The Chaos Brigade's hideout like they did last time and appeared in the window for The Chaos Brigade to see. They couldn't believe it once The Chaos Brigade saw The Justice Brigade. They all said at the same time, "What the?" Shula shouted, "After them." The Chaos Brigade flew out their window and flew after The Justice Brigade.

Shula started to shoot fire at Sungirl, but Sungirl fired her Sun Bolts at Shula. Iceboy then tackled Shula and froze her body in ice. Then he broke her free, and she became so cold that she couldn't use her powers. Sungirl said, "I knew it. You fixed your weaknesses but not each other's." The Shadow Devil grabbed Sungirl and Iceoby and tossed them away, but Heatgirl set his sunburn on fire and kicked him. Then The Shadow Devil landed on Shula and took her out, too. Lily then shot Heatgirl with her Flower Laser Gun, but Aquaboy shot it with his water. Aquaboy said, "Hey, Flower Girl. Haven't you heard too much water is bad for plants?" Her flowers died, and Aquaboy took the water from them and soaked Lily. Tech Head shot Aquaboy away with one of his lasers, but Sungirl cut the laser off his pack with her Laser Vision and destroyed his pack with her Laser Vision, too. Sungirl grabbed Tech Head and threw him at Lily. Lily landed on top of The Shadow Devil, and Tech Head landed on top of Lily. Once The Chaos Brigade was piled up, the police arrested them again and took them to a more secure jail that was escape-proof. The Justice Brigade then flew to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed them. The doctors then put Sungirl's leg in a cast, put bandages on her head, and she ended up in crunches. They also put Heatgirl's arm in a muscle relaxer and an eye patch on her eye. Iceboy got a neck brace, his arm and leg ended up in a cast, and he ended up in crunches like Sungirl. The doctors also put Aquaboy's bottom half in a cast, and he got put in a wheelchair. Sungril said, "Well, the fight might have put us in the hospital, but at least we're alive and victorious." The Justice Brigade then took it easy and had to stay in the hospital for a while.
