A Tale Of Two Worlds!!

Sarah felt water droplets sprinkled on her face, forcing her to come back to conscious.

As she slowly yet steadily opened her eyes, she watched her aunt who was seated beside her on the bed, looking down at her, worry and concern swirling in her eyes.

"It isn't a dream, is it?!" Sarah asked with a tear cascading down her eye.

Isobel shook her head with a faint smile, "Missed us?!"

Sarah bobbed her head, more tears falling down, her gaze shifting towards the side, witnessing her uncle seated right beside the bed on a chair, looking at her as well concerned and relieved at the same time. "A lot!!" She confessed as she pushed herself up, taking another glance at them making sure she wasn't dreaming.

Oh she wasn't, she was in her room, the one in which she used to live before moving out.

Her gaze then settled at Amara and Ralph who stood in brief distance, watching her with a relieved smile.

Same people, same place, same her.

It wasn't a dream.

Sarah immediately hugged her aunt, "I missed you a lot!!"

Isobel caressed her hair as she continued, "A lot!!"

Harry reached her, sitting beside, "Let me take a look," he pretentiously curious, held her chin, "you look even more beautiful while crying" he hissed, "just that eyes are getting red!!" he said to himself with a nod.

Sarah chuckled, swiftly departing from Isobel, embracing Harry.

Harry hugged back, kissing her hair, "You are failing us with our promise by crying." his voice soft.

Sarah smiled faintly, it was those times when she lost her parents, her uncle and aunt, heartbroken as well, even more to see her crying, and then, they made a promise, to never make her cry. "I'm sorry" Sarah whispered.

Harry shook his head, "We are sorry, for leaving you!"

Sarah tightened the hug as though she will never ever let them go. "How.....did this even happen?" She wondered, pulling herself away slight, looking up into the man's eyes before turning to her aunt, confused. Harry wiped her tears, adjusting her hair.

Isobel and Harry had chose to spit out everything they got to know from Amara and Sarah couldn't help but stare Amara in confusion and awe.

Even Ralph who stood beside Amara, saw her with a mixture of concern and wonderment.

Amara could do nothing but provide a nod for Sarah who kept seeing her in silence for assurance.

"So... unbelievable!" Sarah blurted.

Isobel pinched her cheek, "It is, as much as you excellently writing articles!!"

Sarah chuckled, taking her hand in excitement, "Read them?"

"Of course, we did!!" Harry replied patting on her head, "And we like it!!"

Sarah smiled.

Amara and Ralph with a smile, decided to leave the woman alone, to spend her precious time with her precious people. Locking the door, Ralph smiled with a chuckle, her chatter with them from the room still faintly audible, "It's been years since I saw that smile on her face!!" He said to himself shaking his head.

Amara smiled, patting on his shoulder. As they walked into the living room, Ralph shook his head, "We thought there was definitely something odd about you submitting a one week leave letter and then going completely off with us, even not responding for our calls and texts!"

"But, didn't expect this!!"

"Letter?!" Amara wondered. When did she write a letter?!

Ralph nodded, "The next day of you calling us to inform your sick leave, we received a leave letter for one week. We handed it over to the director." He shrugged, "Even he was surprised by that!!"

Amara couldn't comprehend it, when did she write a letter? Not to include, she even sent it to the office?!

After a brief moment of silence, she wondered, was it Zamiel's doing?!

She didn't speak about it anymore, however Ralph began to think more about the immortal.

"The immortal.....?"

"Zamiel!" She informed softly.

Ralph nodded, "So, where is he now?!"

Amara found herself in silence for a moment, shrugging, "He had somewhere to go, and promised to return back soon!" She said it with a sigh as she remembered him informing it, a lump settling in her heart again.

Ralph however still couldn't believe it, "It's almost impossible for an immortal to do that!" he sighed, "Even possible, we should remember that everything comes with a price!!"

Price?!

"What....do you mean by price?" Amara asked almost concerned.

Ralph sighed, as he leaned against the wall, facing her, "Do you think it is that easy to do something like this, without any effect returned?!"

Amara wondered, the thought of paying price for it bothering her. What more is to happen now?

Ralph hissed, unable to comprehend, "As we think, it's impossible. However, if it is, indeed possible for him, even then, why would he do that, for you?!"

"Something is really being kept in hidden!!" He added.

Amara pondered over it. Yes, even if it is possible for him to do such stuff, why..... would he do that for her?!

Is this related to what he said before leaving? Him having things to explain?!

She sighed hard, "Whatever it is for, he means no harm for us and I'm sure of that!!" she assured him, "We were in the middle of the cake-baking when you two arrived. So, could you help me finish it?!" Amara asked with a wink and a pretty smile.

Ralph smiled, "Of course!!" he said caressing her hair and they headed towards the kitchen, to finish the task.

"Alright!!" Zamiel said to himself looking down briefly.

His eyes shifting to a pure golden colour as he looked up with a smirk, summoning his sword which glowed with its burning fire as he wielded it, ready to attack.

The battle began almost instantly as the demons began to attack him, the man who stood high on the rock, just kept observing.

While Zamiel made no effort of attacking instead used his flash speed movements to dodge their attacks, moving from one to another with ease, constantly appearing and disappearing from view confusing them.

And within seconds, he appeared behind the man who spoke with him moments ago.

While the demons kept searching for him on the ground, the man was confused where the immortal has gone.

"We can still consider peace, what you say?!" Zamiel offered for the last time.

The man turned back almost immediately after hearing him, he rolled his eyes, "Immortals and their cheap tricks!!" he chuckled.

A brow raised, "Cheap tricks?!", Zamiel laughed, snapping his fingers, soon a golden spark escaping his hands, which collapsed the demons who were trying to reach him after noticing his presence. "This is a cheap trick perhap?!" A soft smile took over Zamiel.

The man chuckled, "You think they'll last long?! You would be nothing but a dead meat, soon!!"

Zamiel shook his head, "All I am trying to do is avoid the fight, for I've no reason to do so!!"

"Lame excuses!!" The man scoffed as he summoned his sword which burned with a purple fire, wielding it with a lightning speed, attacking Zamiel with no warning.

Zamiel tried to dodge it however, the man's strength was too much for him, after all, he was an ancient demon. A deep cut landed on Zamiel's left shoulder, a groan of pain escaping him.

Yet Zamiel didn't let it effect him, fighting back.

Both the men didn't hold back, fighting with each, jumping down, constantly attacking and dodging the attacks.

Despite not letting the man hurt him again, Zamiel's attempts of attack however remained failed.

The intense fight even took them to air, as they fought. Their forces collided with each only destroying their surroundings, creating noises.

"What's happening here?!" A menacing yet reserved voice halted them.

Both the men shifted their eyes towards the cave, witnessing a man standing out.

The man soon got on to the ground, dismissing his weapon, bowing his head in due respect, "My lord!"

Zamiel who also got on to his feet, looking up at the newly arrived man, still hold on to his sword. My lord?

Zamiel took a brief look, the man looked reserved, noble, calm, yet his eyes shimmered ....as though they held the power of destruction in themselves. His attire somehow the same with the others, but the pure purple multilayered silk attire is as though a perfectly chosen one for him.

Zamiel couldn't help but stare the man in admiration as he looked down at them, his hands folded behind, his pure white hair swaying in its own unique way.

The man's gaze shifted, witnessing few demons unconscious on the ground, "Casper, what happened?" he asked calmly as his gaze settled back on the man, completely ignoring Zamiel.

Zamiel took a note of the man's name whose beside he stood, while still having faint doubts over the man's identity who was now speaking.

Casper responded, gazing up finally, "Lord Tamas, he is an immortal who claims to be sentenced here for two months. Look at what had he done!!" he gave a disgusting side eye towards Zamiel.

However, Zamiel's eyes only widened at the realisation, the man, was none other than the demon god himself.

So all those tales were true?!

The demon god, still resides at the Nether world?!

His realisation only made him instantly dismiss his weapon as he kneeled in respect, "My greetings, lord Tamas, the god of demons!! It's such an honour to meet you!!" Zamiel's head slightly bowed as he greeted.

Tamas, however looked away briefly before a chuckle escaped him. "Immortal?!" He laughed, "You stink like a human!!"

Zamiel looking up, shrugged, "I was a human before!!" he admitted.

That surprised Casper, who now looked down at him, "Lowly human got turned into an immortal? What else can be more funny?!"

Zamiel paid no heed, "I've heard different tales about you, my lord. I feel lucky to see you today. I'm Zamiel!!" he greeted again as he bowed for one last time before getting back on his feet.

"Different tales?" Tamas smiled softly, "I'm sure you never heard the truth anyway!!"

Zamiel really had no comment for that, "I'm completely unaware of what happened between immortals and demons, and why, my lord. However, I choose not to carry forward something that does not relate with me in any way, I have no rivalry with you all!!"

Tamas smiled as though he heard something silly, his gaze briefly settling over his unconscious demons, as if asking the man- 'no rivalry, then what about this all?!', with a raised brow.

"A defensive act, my lord!!" Zamiel defended himself while Casper held back his grimace.

Tamas's eyes shimmered in shiny purple suddenly, the sudden appearance of purple moon in the sky which now glowed in serenity with its mysterious power, only surprised Zamiel.

As soon as the shine of the purple moon fell over the demons, they came back to normal, standing up on their feet, feeling the unique energy surging within them.

And as Tamas's eyes came back to normal, the purple moon disappeared from the sky itself.

Zamiel couldn't really comprehend what he saw.

"Zamiel?" Tamas looked at him for which Zamiel only nodded. The man continued, "I do not know the sin behind your punishment, neither do I care to know!!"

"However," his gaze narrowed, "it is not the stay here but the survival from here!!"

"I will in no way stop my people from what they want to do to you, for you're no guest but a mere prisoner."

Zamiel nodded in acceptance, "I understand!!"

Tamas looked away, "It's for all, do not dare disturb my peace, again!!" He warned calmly, before walking away, back in to the cave while everyone bowed for him.

Casper casted a glance at Zamiel, "It's not going to be easy for you, immortal!!" he said with a slight smirk before getting vanished from the view, leaving him to the other demons who glanced him in most hatred way possible.

Zamiel sighed inward, so, more to see he guess!!
