Training and Conflict

Ash went to his mother Jasmine before going to training. She was performing her maid duties even though she is a concubine of the Earl. Even though she is a stranger but due to the body's past he did fell the bond of mother.

She is cleaning the floor of the estate when Ash came and whispered "Mother I will be training myself in combat arts. So could you please show me a place where I can do it without disturbance from my brothers".

She is startled to hear those words. Jasmine replied "Wait for 5 minutes and I will take you to a place where we can talk freely".

He understood it and waited for his mother to complete her work. She then caught hold of Ash's small hand and took him outside of the estate. It nearly took 20 minutes when they climbed a hill far away from the estate.

There is a bench made of marble surrounded by walls shading it from sunlight. They both sat down on the bench.

"Now what is going on?" asked Jasmine. "Mother you know that I don't have any magic power and I am a worthless son to my father. My brothers harass me everyday but I've had enough. Last night I had enlightenment and I have received knowledge of "Martial Arts" in sleep" lied Ash.

Jasmine gave him a skeptical look and after few seconds started laughing. "You are good at joking my son. Due to that my stress has been released" she said while laughing heartily.

Ash sighed at her remarks but also felt happy because she is treated like shit by the two wives of Earl. Since she will not believe him with words he decided to demonstrate a part of martial art to make her believe.

He stood up and said "Mother look at this". He went to the wall and took a wide stance. He put his two hands on both hips. After putting power into his fist he launched a punch on the wall and the wall immediately cracked.

Jasmine on looking it was shocked. This type of strength is not something a 7 year old should possess but her son is showing that strength easily.

She could not speak for two minutes as she was looking with o shaped mouth.

"So you really obtained enlightenment?" she said with tears forming in her eyes.

Vinod nodded and said "Yes if I train myself properly in these arts there is a chance that my magic power can increase".

Jasmine was astounded by those words. She also found her son's behavior different because he was not a confident boy but a timid boy who always got harassed.

"But mother I need a secret place where I can train in these arts" said Ash Randell.

Jasmine nodded and thought for a while. Finally she got something and said "About 1 kilometer west from the estate there is an open space of 500 meters. I found it when I went for a casual walk to remove my stress due to the wives of the Earl. You can use that space to train yourself".

Ash smiled on hearing what she said. He immediately went and hugged her. "Mother I will make sure that in the future you will lead a respectable life away from these bastards" he said with fists clenched.

"I can only pray that you succeed my son" she said with a sad smile. They both went back and when they were at the estate Ash went West for 1 km and found the open space.

He started his exercises which include pushups, squats, running. After that he performed kicks, punches and did some acrobatics. Since there was no one as his opponent he could not wrestling moves. This continued for nearly 3 hours. After 3 hours he was completely exhausted and sweat poured all over the body.

He took 30 minute break and after that he started practicing the energy manipulation in body.

The first step in the evocation process is to collect the energy from all parts of the body and give it a shape. It can take different shapes depending on the nature of the person. The shape doesn't define the person's power but it defines the type of person the spell caster is.

Ash closed his eyes and concentrated on bringing the energy to his chest portion where it can take shape. The process is tough and collecting energy itself is very tiring.

It took 1 1/2 hour to gather the energy. But Ash failed to give it a shape as he collapsed on the ground because he was tired. Only half part of first step is completed but he grasped the concept and he can easily collect energy next time.

After taking a rest for 45 minutes he went back to the estate. As soon as he entered through the front door he saw his father Harvey talking to his three sons. Harvey is a 42 year old man.

Donald is 16 years old and is going to be sent to "Imperial Magic Academy" in the capital. Only people at the age of 16-18 are allowed to appear for academy exam. Even commoners are allowed to attend the academy but in separate buildings. The commoners will receive a shabby education compared to nobles.

Kevin and Calvin are at an age of 15 and 13. Donald has already passed the exam and in a week he is going to attend the academy. There are three more academies which provide magic education and they are Silver Rose Magic Academy, Blue Wind Magic Academy and Saffron Night Academy.

But these 3 academies charge very high fee compared to Imperial Magic Academy but the education is provided to Nobles and commoners equally without discrimination.

It is the tradition of high ranking nobles to attend the Imperial Magic Academy so Donald is attending it.

Ash thought "He must have gathered them to celebrate Donald's entry to the academy". Ash saw them talking and decided to ignore all those 4 fools. He did not have an inch of respect for his father and siblings.

Ash started making his way towards his room when he heard "Where do you think you are going Ash?"

It is his father's voice. Ash turned back and stared towards his father and siblings. His father has a serious expression on his face and his brothers were smiling disgustingly at him.

Ash decided that he will not call Harvey his father anymore since he did not behave like one. Ash decided that he will earn his own money and get out of this house along with his mother as soon as he reaches 12 year old.

Ash looked at Harvey and asked "What is it My Lord?"

Harvey was surprised to hear "My Lord" from Ash's mouth. Even the other siblings were astonished.

"Where have you been?" shouted Harvey.

Ash looked with a serious expression and said "As you can see I am not suitable for magic so I am training myself in combat arts so that in future I may join the army My Lord".

Harvey on hearing this became angry. "What a disgrace that one of my sons does not have affinity to magic and is going to join the army instead of becoming a aristocrat" said Harvey with disgust.

Ash did not show any expression to his remark. These insults did not affect him because he was a 29 year old in the body of a 7 year old. He had already experienced insults in the form of his previous boss.

"Yes father and he doesn't even care what happens to the family name" said Kevin provoking his father to insult Ash more severely.

"He doesn't even have shame saying those words" said Calvin with a villainish smile.

"A bastard is always a bastard and what can you expect from him. His mother is a whore and he is a disgrace" said Donald mocking Ash.

Ash clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. He wanted pummel Donald for insulting his mother.

"Alright that's enough we will talk about it during the lunch. Ash go take a bath because you stink" said Harvey and ascended the stairs along with his sons.

Ash calmed himself and went back to his room where there is an attached bathroom. There is a tub and soap where he took a bath and cleansed himself.

He put on some fancy clothes and waited for lunch. The time is 2 o clock when the lunch is served.

He went to the table where a lots of dishes are served. His father is sitting in the middle while the siblings and wives are sitting on either sides of the table.

He went there and sat away from everyone over there. Even the wives Leonora the first wife and Belladonna the second wife openly showed disgust towards Ash. Ash didn't give a flying fuck towards them which enraged them even more.

Ash didn't bother with etiquette and ate everything the way he liked. Seeing that others were shocked. They felt something different about him.

"Did the bastard forget manners too?" said Leonora with a crooked smile.

"That is what you expect from an uncivilized fool?" said Belladonna.

Ash looked at them with a creepy smile which definitely made them afraid.

The other siblings looked at the scene and Calvin said "What is with that smile buffoon? Are you a clown or something?"

Ash looked at Calvin and spit the food on the ground looking at him.

This shocked everyone at the table including Harvey.

"Ash Randell mind your manners or there will be serious punishment" shouted Harvey.

Ash looked at Harvey and spit the food again on the ground. Everyone was petrified due to the actions of Ash.

"I've had enough of your nonsense" shouted Donald and immediately started chanting the spell.

"No stop it Donald" shouted Harvey but it was futile.

Before Donald could finish the spell a knife was at Donald's throat and standing in front of him is Ash.

"If you complete the spell I will complete the piercing" said Ash with a sadistic smile. The other siblings were shocked and immediately moved away due to fear.

Donald immediately shut his mouth. Even Leonora and Belladonna were shouting to remove the knife.

"Stop it Ash" shouted Harvey with spell conjured without chanting. Ash looked at Harvey for a second and turned his attention to Donald.

"You can harass me and beat me but if you or any other people here dare to insult my mother I will cut them down to pieces" said Ash throwing away the knife.

Ash released a killing intent which not only terrified his brothers and mothers but Harvey was also paralyzed and the spell disappeared.

Ash turned his attention to Harvey and said "I don't care if you see me as your son or not but I am warning you I will walk my own path of combat arts and if you try to cause obstacles or try to do anything to my mother I don't care if you are an Earl as I will slaughter you before you can even cast a spell. This applies to those artificial wives of yours and your disgusting three sons" with a powerful voice.

The warning he gave and the aura he is emitting is not of a child but of an adult who has experienced combat.

The aura emitted made Donald pee his pants and other two siblings hugged each other due to fear. Even Harvey's heart felt fear. The wives of his have started crying.

Ash calmed himself down within a minute and said "I hope the conflict is settled now".

He immediately turned away and went back to his room.
