Vinod used to be an ordinary worker in earth who is bored with his life. One day he lost his life in the hands of goons who were trying to extort him of money. His soul transmigrated into another world "Terrion" into the body of Ash Randell of Earl Randell's house in Yellandria kingdom. He is the fourth son and the weakest in the family with lowest magic power. The three eldest brothers looked down on him and used to harass him. After 2 years of transmigration when he was 7 years old he heard the voice he was waiting for "Does the host wish to bind with the adventure cum development system?"

The Tectic volcano which is to the north of Erik's territory is an active one but the intervals at which it erupts is too long and according to the information Ash got from the guild the estimated time before the volcano erupts is 9 years from now. That is one of the reasons why he took the quest near a volcano.
Since the senior ranked adventurers are missing in action it was perfect chance for the group to do quests and increase their ranks simultaneously.
But the quest is not as simple because the Fire turtles may not be powerful but the crystals on the shell of these turtles is very hard to break and the only way you can extract this crystals is by killing them.
