Chapter 2 Van-da-Darwin

Both the needles of the wall clock were trying to meet at 3. I came outside to look for Darwin. It was freezing cold outside. I stepped out on the topless portion of the roof and looked for Darwin.

Darwin... Darwin...

The roof was double the size of a badminton court but without grilles. Everything was visible from the top.. store, bathrooms, road, kitchen everything... Even in the sparkling light of the snow, I was unable to find Darwin. I looked with a detective's eyes around and saw some shining object on the right side of the roof...

It is a ring...

The ring is on the finger.

oh! it's hand...

Oh! hoo... It's Darwin hanging!!

.... And with the speed of light, I ran towards Darwin and pulled him up.

What were u doing there? Why were u hanging? Are you fine? I fired so many questions on him.

"I do that every day. it's my hobby to hang on roofs. I am perfectly fine..." Van-da- Darwin cross-fired with rage.

"Let's go inside" I tried your some water on his burning anger.

I prepared a cup of coffee in silence as Darwin was again in his books.

Sipping coffee... he said. I was unable to see the ladders and I got toppled from the extended iron rods which are coming out of the roof. It was my luck that I was able to hold the side of the wall. I tried to pull myself up but all in vain. I think I should lose some pounds.

I listen to everything like a humanity student in a chemistry lecture and didn't utter a word in reply but in my mind was ROFL.

Van-da-Darwin was a 6 feet tall, white, muscular, 21 years old lad. He was a resident of New Orleans. Darwin's father was a banker and his mother works in some finance company. He was average in studies but his IQ was quite high. He grasps things very fast. He is a quick learner. I met him two years back in Leo's institute of software development. He doesn't study too much but he does quality studies. He was very lucky in his life. I remember the last time we went to Royal casinos where he converted 50 dollars to 500in just 40minites. Lots of time he had won lotteries. Despite all this he never believes in his luck rather he trusts himself.

It's the D-day, the day which will decide our future. Will be working with Red Hat or not?

We left our bed at 7 and took a hot shower followed by 2 tests as breakfast. Darwin wore his blue suit and I was wearing my black dress. 'Shall I wear a bow or tie?'

I asked.

You are going for an interview, not for a party. So just wear that tie Darwin replied.

We went to the bus stop for catching the bus.

Earbuds playing Enrique on level 10, I was in my full confidence. On the other side, Darwin was having a book in his hand and murmuring something.

And the bus arrives...
