Chapter 84 - Above Legend
"The Master of Nether Realm recruits disciple; those with extraordinary talent are sent to a place called Divine Feathers Sect in Draconic Ruins Realm to cultivate." Xiao Yu explained the purpose of the trails.
Tatsuya thought it might have something to do with it.
"What about the ranks above Heavenly Fate?" Miyuki wanted to know about the cultivation system more. She had spent the past three months with Yu Yan. She also sparred with her to try and bring out most of her Astral spirits powers. Now she heard from Xiao Yu that Yu Yan only set a base in Draconic Ruins Realm. To her, it seemed impossible.
"Experts are divided into five realms, Heavenly Fate, Heavenly Star, Heavenly Axis, Dao of the Dragon, and Martial Ancestor. Spiritual Gods are only early Heavenly Fate Ranks."
"Which rank expert can make you see a sea of stars when you look at them?"
Xiao Yu was stunned hearing Tatsuya's question; she hastily replied, "No expert can do that; well, they can show you an illusion."
'It seems there is a big misunderstanding when it comes to spiritual gods?' Tatsuya telepathically talked to Miyuki.
'Space-time God was able to make Nie Li regress, Yu Yan is too powerful, I can't believe such beings are just Heavenly Fate Realm.' Maybe it was denial, but Miyuki found it hard to believe that such powerful beings were everywhere in that world.
'I heard the voice of the one in Abyss Prison Realm, knowing there is another way to cultivate above Legend. I can't be sure that person is a Spiritual God, but he gave me a great sense of danger too.' Although Tatsuya wasn't sure how powerful he was when compared to Heavenly Fate Rank experts. He wanted to see one to make sure how powerful he was.
He glanced at Xiao Yu walking in front, "are you Heavenly Fate Rank?"
Xiao Yu was a bit upset, "No."
"Oh! I thought you must have."
Xiao Yu had a sad expression on her face.
'Without seeing someone who has reached the Heavenly Fate Realm, we can't be sure who is right and who is wrong.' Miyuki wanted to know who was confused, her and Tatsuya or Xiao Yu.
A mural flashed in Tatsuya's mind, 'Maybe even those in Draconic ruins realm think that Spiritual Gods are just Heavenly Fate Rank.'

Tatsuya was in a daze; he refocused his gaze and looked at Miyuki, 'maybe we can only know once we reach Draconic Ruins Realm. Nie Li regressed; his vast knowledge must be from Draconic Ruins Realm. If we keep an eye on him, we will know if only this world regressed or even the Draconic Ruins Realm regressed. Seeing the experts will also give us a rough idea.' If Draconic Ruins Realm also regressed, they would have a good idea of a Spiritual God's powers.
Suddenly, two walls on each side morphed into hands and tried to grab them.

She shouted while running forward; Tatsuya and Miyuki followed her.

As they reached closer, they heard sounds of intense battles. The stone hands kept attacking them, but Tatsuya used the swords to create shields to stop them.
"Muahahaha...Muahahahahahaha...I never thought you idiots would enter this place. Do you think my treasures are here? No Fool!!! This tomb is my real body. By swallowing you, I will restore my divine spark. Ming Fei, you have been trying to restrain me, but that's impossible. My Law of Death is even higher than yours."
Xiao Yu frowned her brows for a brief moment and snorted, "That bastard isn't dead yet."

Xiao Yu kept releasing energy from her palms, shattering the stone hands into a rain of tiny fragments. However, just as Xiao Yu managed to destroy another wave, more hands came towards her pushing her back.
The stone hand contained some kind of Law of Death energy that was trying to invade her body. He underestimated this force far too much.
"Nanoflare!" with Tatsuya's shout, a red spherical mass of energy formed at a distance. It burst apart, destroying all the stone hands and the surrounding.
A gap formed in the wall which they used to step through,
They appeared in a vast area. Demigod experts from different races were there; trapped by artery like ropes that absorbed the energy from their bodies in pulses, sending the energy flowing towards a distant reservoir.
After reaching here, Tatsuya was sure what was attracting him, 'Law of Death, that is what has been attracting me.'
The Demigod rank experts all appeared withered to the point that even opening their eyes was a difficult task.
In the center of that vast space was a massive black heart, thumping nonstop.
"Muahahaha, more idiots have come to die! I will accept you!"
Multiple arteries like ropes headed towards them. Numerous silver-white swords appeared, forming a hemispherical protective layer. Stopping anything from reaching them.
Xiao Yu marveled at Tatsuya's powers. She realized they were stronger than she thought.
Miyuki looked worried, "Tatsuya-ge?"
Tatsuya took a deep breath, "It's the law of death that has been attracting me."

Tatsuya frowned, when seeing the system pop up, not only him Miyuki's face was filled with displeasure, "I want it." Tatsuya declared out loud.
Any other time he might have heard it or taken the suggestion. But, the situation was different; right now, he was under pressure.
According to Xiao Yu, Spiritual Gods set the base. For their next mission, they had to go to the Draconic Ruins Realm. Tatsuya wanted every chance that could make him stronger. Even this one that had been dead for a long time was strong. And this might just be the base strength of experts there.
Without enough strength, he might not be able to protect Miyuki. Her safety was one thing he would never take a risk with.
Xiao Yu gazed at him, "You want the divine spark?" She heard Tatsuya saying he wanted it.
Tatsuya acknowledged, "Yes."
Xiao Yu looked at the swords protecting them, "we can't even go out? how are you going to get the divine spark."
Tatsuya shook his head, "I just needed more time; I wanted to think something over."
He didn't want to fall into this guy's pace, "Both of you stay back and protect yourself."
Xiao Yu frowned, "are you going to fight alone?"
Tatsuya started removing the protective layer, "fight? probably." What he wanted was Death Law. If he needed to fight to get it, then he wouldn't mind.
Xiao Yu was confused as she saw Tatsuya moving towards the center of the area. She got ahold of herself and took out a sword, "We should free them; Tatsuya won't be able to hold for long."
When she was able to jump forward, Miyuki held her hand, "don't, that would only make Tatsuya-ge hold back."
"H-Hold back?" Xiao Yu was stupified; she wanted to say more, but Miyuki shook her head, "Just watch!"
Voice in the void paused after it noticed Tatsuya for a while, "You? what are you?" It felt Tatsuya was some kind of delicious food that is desired more than anything.
Tatsuya smiled after hearing the words of the voice; countless swords appeared in the surroundings. They attacked the ropes coming towards Tatsuya. He purposely ignored the strings that trapped other Demigods, "it seems the attraction is mutual."
"How can you cut through my ropes of origin that were made from my Law of Death." the voice was very stunned. It couldn't believe it at all.
It created massive amounts of death aura; it walloped towards Tatsuya. At first, Tatsuya wanted to strike it away, but his blood started flowing even faster.
As soon as the death aura touched it, his body started absorbing it like it had been hungry for it.
"What is going on...?!!!" The voice was astounded, not because Tatsuya was able to absorb the aura. But, because he couldn't stop it. His death aura was starting to go out of his control.
"Why can't I control it??!!!"
"What are you doing!!!"
Xiao Yu looked at the display in a daze, "what is going on?" She gazed at Miyuki with the hope of getting some answers.
Miyuki was staring at Tatsuya intently; even she was not sure of the consequences of doing this, "Tatsuya-ge is probably absorbing the death law energy. He said something had been attracting him. It must be the death aura."
Xiao Yu gazed at Tatsuya, who was surrounded by the death law energy in wonder. This was the first time she had heard someone was attracting death law energy.
All the energy that was absorbed by his body, traveling into his veins and reached his heart. His heart started feeding on this energy. Tatsuya didn't completely lose his senses; he used Elemental Sight to observe all changes. At this moment, something or more like someone caught his attention; it was Nie Li.
