Chapter 71 - Control?
On a beach somewhere,
Tatsuya was standing, looking at the sunset. He looked back at Honami Sakurai, whose life force was running out. Beside her was a younger him crying over her death.
Tatsuya could feel the same emotions his counterpart was feeling. That immense sadness of her death, that urge to cry, and that tiny bit of happiness that she got to choose to die as a human; and not a tool.
He walked and sat by her side, slowly caressing her cheeks with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes.
He closed his eyes; when he opened them again, he was on his bed.
Turning to his left, he could see Miyuki sleeping face. Looking at her always made him happy; he could stare at her all day.
He softly moved closer to her and wrapped his hand around her before closing his eyes again.
While Tatsuya and Miyuki were resting peacefully,
The whole city was at high alert; everyone could feel an oppressive atmosphere. In the past two days,
Army Barracks became empty, alchemists and inscriptionists couldn't be seen on the streets anymore.
There were rumors on the street that they were at war, or the beast tide was approaching.
Many were worried about what was going on; In them was a small group of seven people. They were Nie Li, Du Ze, Lu Piao, Xiao Xue, and the others.
They were currently in Nie Li's courtyard in City Lord's Mansion. Because the Dark Guild was preparing to assassinate those prominent in the younger generation, they were shifted to the City Lord's Mansion.

Everyone became silent; they didn't have the answer to that question.
Du Ze broke the silence, "We should try and meet Tatsuya and Miyuki; both of them would surely know."
Nie Li closed his eyes; a few moments later, he stood up, "Let's go meet them."
When Nie Li and his group were going towards their courtyard, a purple-haired girl and a ginger-haired girl were peeking inside Tatsuya and Miyuki's room.
They looked at Tatsuya and Miyuki sleeping, together with wide eyes and blush on their face before they silently closed the door and move away from the door.
They softly moved away from the door before sitting on the sofa with a flushed expression.
Xiao Ning'Er looked at Ziyun mouthing words, 'Did you know?'
Ziyun shook her head, hastily, 'no!!' she didn't know that Tatsuya and Miyuki slept together.
She was fidgeting when she looked at Ning'Er's sad face; she moved closer to her before hugging her from the side and whispered, "it's ok."
"I always knew they loved each other, that they also lived together, I didn't know that they slept together. I shouldn't feel this bad, Right?"
Ziyun tried her best to her soothe her.
After a while,
"We have visitors," Ziyun stood up and walked towards the outside to see who it was.
Inside the room, Miyuki lazily opened her eyes; she looked at Tatsuya with a loving gaze, caressing his cheek.
Tatsuya also opened his eyes, "Good morning."
Miyuki snuggled closer to him, "Good morning."
"We have guests," she whispered.
"I know," Tatsuya said while gently kissing her lips.
"We should really go," Miyuki whispered in between the kiss.
"I know," He said while pulling her closer.
Miyuki's body twitch and, a slight moan escaped her mouth when Tatsuya's hand started roaming inside her cloth, her breathing sped up, "They will hear it."
Tatsuya's tongue slid inside her mouth, "I know."
Miyuki forcefully pulled away before pulling out his hand from her cloth and pouted, "Onii-sama, you are losing control!!" She stood up before walking towards the bathroom.
Tatsuya turned and lay down on his back, turning his head only to see the bathroom door closing behind Miyuki, and whispered after taking a deep breath, "I know."
*Knock*Knock*Knock*
"Tatsuya-ge, you have guest."
A smile appeared on his face; he knew she had been peeking for a while now.
He closed his eyes and mumbled, "I really am losing control."
He felt he should take Miyuki's suggestion.
Nie Li and others were sitting in the room. Lu Piao was jumping from sofa to chair to single sofa to the wooden floor, "Wow!! all this is so nice!!"
Xiao Xue gently touched the sofa, "This is genuinely nice!" she had never seen anything like this. She could kill to get some of this.
Ziyun tittered, "We had the same reaction when we first came here."
Du Ze sat on the sofa, relaxing, "Never sat on anything as comfortable as this."
Nie Li looked at the whole room, the dining tables, the lights, the black glass. The table and everything in the room. Everything here felt so alien.
Even with his experience, he hadn't seen this layout anywhere.
It had been some time since Ziyun returned, but they didn't get any response.
At this moment, the door opened, and Tatsuya walked out of it.
Looking at him, Ning'Er widened her eyes before looking away and down.
Tatsuya greeted everyone before he went and sat beside Ning'Er.

Du Ze, Lu Piao, and others looked at Tatsuya before looking at Nie Li. It seemed they wanted Nie Li to speak for them.

"Oh, that! By evening or by tomorrow, a beast tide will hit us." Tatsuya said collected as if it wasn't a big deal.
"A beast tide!!!" Lu Piao jumped up from his seat.
Du Ze looked too dumbfounded to speak. Others were not faring any better than him. They were astounded to hear that a beast tide was upon them.
Only Nie Li started frowning after a little surprise, "Wait! in that case, where is everyone?" He felt if that was it then, where was everyone. They should be near the wall preparing, but they were not. Why was the path to the abyss prison realm blocked?
Tatsuya crossed his legs, "They won't be participating in the battle."

Miyuki tilted her head, "You didn't know?"
