Chapter 60 - Trident and Teleportation.

Here stands an old construct. The erosion from the rain left mottled traces on the walls here.

In the Age of Darkness, Glory City once had many inhabitants. However, during the mad frenzy by the demon beasts, many of them were killed. Even their corpses were missing; no one knows what kind of history Glory City has.

The five Legend rank ancestors brought hundreds of thousands of people here as they battled and retreated into the St. Ancestral Mountains. They withdrew into Glory City, and from there, they began to rebuild the city.

Since then, Glory City has experienced countless destruction, and it was rebuilt many times.

However, the original history of Glory City has been destroyed in the long passage of time. The majority of Glory City constructs were all rebuilt; only these constructs remained till today. These dome-like constructs were enveloped in a faint white luster; even Legend rank Demon Spiritualists are unable to penetrate through it.

This should be a giant ancient array, filled with mystery.

On the walls of those dome-like constructs, there are many profound inscriptions carved on them that would occasionally emit a lustrous shine.

Tatsuya, Miyuki, Xiao Ning'Er, Ye Ziyun, Shen Xiu, Yang Xin, and Yu Yan were standing here.

Yu Yan scrutinized the array, "This is a really profound array!!"

Tatsuya was also 'seeing' the array, "It seems to be a spacial array; there is a different space on the inside. It will teleport us to that space. The barrier here is protecting the array."

Yang Xin touched the barrier; although it didn't feel strong, it was unbreakable, "I have seen this barrier; No one in the Glory city has been able to break through it."

Tatsuya closed his eyes; when he merged with soul king bloodline, his computation powers increased. Before what took 50% of his computation resources only took 10% of what he could do with 100% needed only 20%.

And he could do a lot with 100% of his resources. To the point, he could put a whole country under his eyes and use the data collected by his sight to calculate the future. It wasn't fate, destiny, foretell, or prophecy. It was like calculating the most likely result based on data.

A false fate, born from data collection and prediction, even so, that doesn't change the fact it was nearly hard to change that fate.

Using 20% of that computation power to figure out this array was easy. After a while, Tatsuya opened his eyes.

Miyuki, who had been holding him and watching the array through his eyes, also opened her eyes, "I find it hard to believe that someone could lay down this array. I have never seen anything like this."

Tatsuya knit his eyebrows, "We might not be ready for what we find inside."

Yu Yan looked worried, "What did you see?"

Tatsuya nodded, "This array, a demigod; no thousand of demigods can't lay down this array."

"Are you saying we might find a spiritual god inside?" Yu Yan was happy and worried at the same time. It might be someone she knew and was an ally or might be an enemy.

Xiao Ning'Er, Ziyun, and Shen Xiu have been quiet because they didn't have much knowledge of the inscription patterns, just the basic ones.

Yang Xin looked at them, "So? what now?"

Tatsuya used Bahamut's ability to create weapons to construct Silver Horn Trident. Although he couldn't assemble a proper working CAD because the soul force interfered with the working of CAD but, using Bahamut's power, he could build a temporary one. That month he used to watch Bahamut's memory and his ability wasn't a waste.

In the eyes of others, a small metal object appeared in Tatsuya's hand. It looked like a sword's hilt. Just, rather than going straight up, it was bent and pointing at the front. There was a nice metallic shine coming from it. To them, it looked completely different than anything they had seen before.

Xiao Ning'Er looked at with surprise, "Is that a firearm?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Ye Ziyun looked at her curiously; "A firearm? what's a firearm?"

Xiao Ning'Er could see everyone looking at her with interest; she was flustered, she didn't know if she should tell everyone. She looked towards Miyuki for help.

Miyuki's answered in her stead, "Xiao Ning'Er saw this in Garuda's inheritance. Tatsuya-ge also got the idea from it."

Tatsuya looked at them, "Can you guys close your eyes?"

Shen Xiu knit her brows, "Because we might meet a spiritual god?"

Tatsuya nodded, "Yes!!"

Others closed their eyes, Only Yu Yan and Miyuki's eyes were open.

They saw Tatsuya pointing 'firearm' towards the barrier. In the next instance, all they saw was a pale bluish-white fire covered half of the array barrier, and it disappeared as if there was nothing there.

"You can open your eyes!"

Yang Xin was the first one to open the eyes, whose hand was near the barrier, pulled back, "what? what just happened?"

Tatsuya smiled; He felt good after having Trident back in his hand after so many years. That month was worth it.

Ziyun tried to touch the place where the barrier was as if expecting it to be there and almost fell, "where did it go?"

Shen Xiu looked at the barrier and frowned, "Don't ask questions; we don't need to know!"

If' in these past few months, she learned something, then that was to control her curiosity of things.

Yu Yan nodded, "Once you become a demigod, it won't be too late to know."

Soon, they stepped inside the barrier and stood in the middle.

Shortly, the barrier reformed and turned bright again.

It was as though they had entered into endless space.

Woosh! Woosh! Woosh!

Rays of light flashed all around them and then appeared in the middle of a worn-out ancient array. The middle part looked similar to a teleportation array. The surroundings are covered with stone pillars and carved with mysterious inscription patterns.

A cold rain was dripping onto the ground. Ahead of Tatsuya and the others is an endlessly dark wilderness. The distant mountains were vaguely seen. Above them was an infinite sky.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

The sounds of monsters could be faintly heard from far away.

Ziyun was startled, "Where are we?"

Yang Xin frowned, "This is a completely different place? that was teleportation?" she had felt this feeling before whenever she went to the treasure house.

Yu Yan wanted to use her divine sense to look around, but Tatsuya stopped her, "Don't! I am not going to use mine either; who knows what or who it might attract."

He looked towards Shen Xiu and Yang Xin. Other than him, they were the only Legend Rank; Miyuki, Ziyun, Ning'Er were Black Gold Rank.

"You two should scout; it's the safest that way."

A confident smile appeared on Yang Xin's face patting her breasts; she said, "Leave it to big sister."

Shen Xiu glanced at him and walked towards the left while Yang Xin walked towards the right.

Watching them leave Miyuki, touched the array below her. Since Tatsuya couldn't use elemental sight, it would be faster than Miyuki could study the stone array quickly.

"There used to be 23 here; we need those stones to power the array."

Miyuki looked in a definite direction; she could tell that the stones were in that direction.

"That side, the stones are on that side."

Ning'Er looked at the raining clouds, "This world looks really dull."

Ye Ziyun nodded, "It feels gloomy."

Tatsuya heard them, but currently, something else occupied his attention.

Yu Yan touched his cheeks with her small hands, "Tatsuya?"

Tatsuya was startled; he looked at her, "Yes?"

"Something happened?" Yu Yan rarely saw him losing attention. This might be the first or second time he lost focus.

Tatsuya shook his head, "Nothing!!"

A flash of worry flashed in Miyuki's eyes, but she covered it soon.

She looked in the surrounding before taking a deep breath, "The surrounding area is filled with monsters."

Tatsuya took out the soul force concealing cloaks and gave it to the three and wore one himself.

"Miyuki, guide us!"

Miyuki nodded before started to move forward, "Yes!"

Ziyun and Ning'Er suddenly felt the chill. They had crossed 20 days of time under Tatsuya's order. His tone reminded them of that time where they were treated as slaves!

Ziyun's mouth twitched, "Shouldn't we wait? if we wear this Lady Yang Xin and Teacher Shen Xiu won't be able to find us?"

Tatsuya glanced at her, "I will leave a trail for them to find."

Xiao Ning'Er knew what Ziyun wanted, with two Legend their workload would drastically decrease. She wanted to say something, but nothing came to her mind.

Miyuki smiled knowing what they were thinking and started walking. Tatsuya followed behind her.

Seeing them not even caring about them both Ziyun and Ning'Er slumped.

They looked at each other with sad eyes, "Ning'Er, maybe this was not a good idea."

Xiao Ning'Er held Ziyun's hand, "I feel the same!! we can't even go back now!"

*sigh* Sighing at their dimming future they both followed Miyuki. And Tatsuya, who was dragging the Thunder God's Meteorite Sword creating a trail for Shen Xiu and Yang Xin to follow.

"Ziyun, Ning'Er the sound of the sword might attract some monsters. It's your job to stay vigilant and take care of those monsters."

Ning'Er mouth twitched hearing that, she looked at Ziyun who had the same expression and maybe the same thought as her.
