Chapter 46 - Coward!

Gui Sha frowned, "Do you think they noticed us? Did Shen Xiu said something?"

Long Sha shook his head, "No! this is common. No one wants to risk someone else watching. Especially when the windows are so open."

Shortly they sneaked away.

Inside Room.

Shen Xiu was lying on top of Tatsuya. She had removed all her clothes and was only wearing two undergarments.

Xiao Ning'Er was so embarrassed that she wasn't moving. Miyuki was sitting on the bed looking at Shen Xiu with a chilling smile, "What do you think you are doing?"

Shen Xiu raised her upper body while rubbing her lower body on Tatsuya's as if finding a comfortable position, "Isn't this what we decided?"

Tatsuya raised his body as much as he could, "We decided to act in a play, not the real thing."

Shen Xiu frowned while putting her arms around his neck, "Tell me, will you ever trust me completely? Will you ever stop 'watching' me?"

Tatsuya narrowed his eyes, "Not for quite some time."

Shen Xiu flicked her hair backward, "then, what if I get married. Will you still watch me if I am with my husband? lover?"

Tatsuya nodded without hesitation, "Yes!"

"Tatsuya!!"

"Tatsuya-ge!!"

Even Miyuki and Xiao Ning'Er were shocked after hearing that.

Tatsuya shook his head, "I won't lie. You are already a legend rank. Soon, you will reach the demigod rank. If you want to get stronger, then you will always stay under my watch."

Shen Xiu looked saddened. She gently put her face on his chest before letting go of all the weight.

Tatsuya wanted to push her away but, Miyuki held his hand. When Tatsuya looked over, she shook her head.

The room became silent. Tatsuya took a deep breath before lying down on the bed again.

After a while, a voice rang in the room, "Do you truly think I am doing this for wealth, fame, or status?"

Tatsuya thought about it then, whispered, "No."

"I did it for my family. I know if they go against you, they will die. For their sake, I had to betray them. I didn't want my brother to die, so I had to cripple him. I don't want to drag them into trouble, so I had to lie to them. So that others don't suspect anything, I had to put away all the respect I had for myself." She raised her body but kept her head down. Her hands reached his collar before pulling it.

"I didn't do it for power or wealth or status. I did it for my family. I agree that I was arrogant, but that was my pride.

Pride in my family, pride in my talent, pride in my achievements."

She raised her head. Tatsuya could see anger on her face, "Don't you dare make me feel so cheap again."

Tatsuya gazed at her steadfastly. He pulled her close, patting her back, "You are right! I am sorry!"

Shen Xiu let her body slump on him. She whispered, "Today, I lost everything. My family, my pride, my freedom, my respect, Ironically I lost everything because of you and, the only one whom I can depend on is you." She let out a bitter laugh.

She took a deep breath before hugging him tightly, "Tonight, I am weak. Let me stay with you. In the future, I will never let you see the weakness again."

Tatsuya glanced towards Miyuki. Seeing her nod, he hugged Shen Xiu back, "Ok!" He gently patted her back before turning sideways and putting her in a more comfortable situation.

Tatsuya gently tucked away her hairs, "Shen Xiu!"

"mm!"

"Today, you looked unquestionably beautiful!"

Shen Xiu opened her eyes. Tatsuya could see sadness inside her eyes. Shen Xiu closed her eyes again, "I would rather not have this beauty!"

A smile appeared on Tatsuya's face. His hand gently combed her hair.

He also closed his eyes. Miyuki looked at them with a smile before lying down beside them. She closely hugged Tatsuya resting her head on his back.

Xiao Ning'Er, who had been trying to keep her presence to a minimum, looked at Shen Xiu in Tatsuya's arm. She was very jealous. But, for the first time, she felt both pity and respect for Shen Xiu. She closed the lights before lying down on the bed. Curling her lips, she whispered, "Just for tonight!"

The Next Morning,

Shen Xiu was the first to open her eyes. She inhaled the fresh morning air before looking at Tatsuya's face.

She could feel his arm wrapped around her body, his steady breathing. She stared at his face before giving him a peck on his lips. She whispered, "I hate you!"

She softly got up from the bed and wore clothes before leaving.

As soon as Shen Xiu left, Tatsuya and Miyuki opened their eyes.

Miyuki hugged him tightly, "Tatsuya-sama!"

Tatsuya gently placed his hand on hers, "I am fine, Miyuki!"

Sacred Family,

Gui Sha and Long Sha were waiting for Shen Xiu since last night. They thought she would return in a few hours. They didn't expect her to stay the whole night.

Just when they were thinking the door of the meeting hall opened, Shen Xiu walked in. The atmosphere around her was denser than before.

Even Gui Sha and Long Sha could feel something about her had changed. They were dissatisfied with her but, right now, both of them sensed it was better not to say anything.

Shen Xiu went forward and sat down on the main seat, "Thank you for waiting for me!!"

Long Sha didn't say anything, just nodded.

Gui Sha spoke, "Did you find out something?"

Shen Xiu paused for a moment. In all that drama, she forgot to ask Tatsuya. Just then, she heard a voice in her head. A look of annoyance appeared on her face.

Gui Sha saw her look, "Don't tell me. You forgot to ask."

Her eyes fastened on him, glaring at him, she said, "I asked, he has already reached 5 Star Black-Gold. That is why I am not in a good mood. He is already about to step on Legend Rank. If I can't find a way to kill him now, then I would have to marry him."

Both of them were shocked that he was already 5-Star Black Gold. They knew he was very young.

Gui Sha narrowed his eyes, "Isn't that a good thing for you?"

Shen Xiu let out a cold laugh, "Are you stupid?"

Long Sha furrowed his brows anger appeared on Gui Sha's face.

He gritted his teeth, "What do you mean?"

Long Sha nodded after hearing that. From what he heard about Tatsuya from Shen Xiu was that Tatsuya was smart. For now, Tatsuya didn't doubt her because Tatsuya was in love. Once he starts to suspect, he would kill Shen Xiu.

Long Sha wanted to know something else, "What about his demon spirit?"

Shen Xiu narrowed her eyes, "It is called Bahamut, a demon spirit with Dragons bloodline. Tatsuya and Miyuki were survivors of a nomadic tribe. That tribe was trying to find treasures strong enough to become the foundation of humanity's resurgence."

Long Sha and Gui Sha were startled. Dragon Bloodline, the demon beast with Dragon Bloodline were always powerful than others. On top of that, he had reached 5-Star BlackGold Rank.

Long Sha looked at her. He could tell she was genuinely annoyed. If any other girl, she would be happy that her lover had so much potential. But, in this situation, Shen Xiu was, death was most likely her outcome.

"What do you plan?" Long Sha felt Tatsuya was a significant threat to them. He wanted to get rid of him.

Shen Xiu furrowed her brows, "I am not sure if even three of us attack him together, we could kill him."

She knew what Tatsuya wanted.

These two were not enough for him. He wanted to kill the demon lord as well.

Gui Sha scoffed, "Although I agree he is powerful, if Long Sha was with me, then we could win against him. Let alone there is also you."

Shen Xiu curled her lips, "That is because you fought him inside the Glory City. The destructive powers of his demon spirit are great if it wasn't for the fact you fought inside Glory City. You would have died. If we fight in Glory City, then other experts will come to support him."

She continued, "If we truly want to kill him, then it must be outside Glory City. But, he is too strong for just us. Where is the demon lord?"

Long Sha shook his head, "Master is in seclusion."

Shen Xiu frowned, "then forget it. I will try and think of something. For now, don't make a move inside Glory City." with that, she stood up and walked away.

Long Sha and Gui Sha watched her go. They wanted to stop just, they didn't have anything to say.

Gui Sha glanced at Long Sha with a wry smile, "won't stop her?"

Long Sha closed his eyes for a moment then opened them, "No, she is too powerful. More than that, she is different from yesterday. It seems she had decided to kill him no matter what. We shouldn't take the risk before the master comes out of seclusion. Once he does, even she would have to submit to us."

In Shen Xiu's courtyard,

She entered the bath shortly after taking off her clothes. She finally felt a little better. Suddenly she looked towards the ceiling, "are you still watching?"

Seeing there was no answer, she whispered, "Coward!"
