Chapter 43 - Gui Sha

Tatsuya was walking on the streets with Xiao Ning'Er in his arms. He knew the Dark Guild was watching. He kept walking as if he had not noticed them.

The roads were dark. The only voice that echoed was from the arena. When Tatsuya reached the crossroads, both of them were instantly surrounded by members of the Dark Guild wearing the red robes.

Tatsuya glanced at all of them then he looked at the youth in the center, "Who are you?"

The youth seized Tatsuya and Xiao Ni'Er.

"Dark Guild, Gui Sha!" the youth laughed, "Currently holding the position as the law enforcement elder of the Dark Guild."

Tatsuya nodded, "What do you want?"

Gui Sha laughed, "Good!! I like smart people. Come with us...you see, we are very curious how all of sudden the younger generation of Glory City became so strong."

Tatsuya nodded as if he understood what they wanted, "If I don't want to?"

All of a sudden, all the members of the Dark Guild got ready to attack.

Gui Sha just smiled, "Then my friend, you will be making a not smart choice."

Tatsuya glanced at him. He shook Xiao Ning'Er in his hand as if waking her up from sleep, "Ning'Er?"

Gui Sha saw his actions and laughed, "Do you want to ask for her help? We know she is too injured to fight."

He signaled his men.

He wasn't sure if this kid would attack them to let the girl escape.

Although they were sure this kid who was from City Lords Mansion would know the new methods but, they were also interested in the Demon Spirit of that girl.

Tatsuya knew of their actions but, he kept looking at Ning'Er.

Xiao Ning'Er shook her eyebrows as she slowly woke up.

When she opened her eyes, she could feel many eyes on her.

When she looked up she saw dark blue eyes watching her.

She knew these eyes. Those deep eyes, that piercing gaze. She could recognize those eyes anywhere.

She realized she was being hugged by him.

A slight blush appeared on her face, "Tatsuya?"

Tatsuya let her stand on her legs, "We are surrounded by enemies."

This declaration startled Xiao Ning'Er. She hastily looked around to see the enemies.

She could tell many of them were Gold Rank a few were even BlackGold. One, even she couldn't tell.

He seemed like the leader.

She swiftly got in the position to fight.

"Huh..." She let out a surprised sound.

She noticed that she had no injuries on her. Just then, she felt a hand on her head.

"I don't want you to fight. I want you to watch the strength of someone who had reached the known peak of this world," Tatsuya whispered.

Xiao Ning'Er was surprised.

She looked towards the man in the center, she thought Tatsuya was talking about him.

The peak strength of this world, 'He must be as strong as Lord Ye Mo."

She started to get worried. They couldn't fight against someone like Lord Ye Mo.

Tatsuya started walking towards Gui Sha.

Seeing this Gui Sha laughed, "are you ready to surrender?"

Abruptly his laughter stopped, his eyes shrunk. He saw a white light in front of his eyes. He knew if he failed to dodge, he would die.

He pulled his body back, a black screen appeared in front of his face.

When the white light struck the black sphere, it made a screeching sound.

After being pushed back by a few meters, he finally gained some ground. He looked at Tatsuya with amazement shortly after he started laughing, "I didn't expect you to be this strong. This is even better." He glanced at his subordinates wanting them to attack but, he was shocked by the sight in front of him.

Xiao Ning'Er saw the whole thing and was stupified by it. She saw one moment Tatsuya was walking towards the enemy and, the next, he was right in front of the enemy with a sword shining with white light.

But, that wasn't what stupified her. What stupified her was that such swords appeared in front of every other enemy in a group of four, penetrating their arms and legs, pinning them to walls in distances.

Gui Sha felt a chill on his back, he thought they were going to kidnap few kids.

He realized they were very wrong. He decided to use a legend rank artifact. Flames shot out from his hand, moving towards Tatsuya. But, his goal was not Tatsuya. He knew if he attacked Tatsuya, he might be able to dodge. His real target was the girl that he was protecting.

Shortly the flame covered both Tatsuya and Xiao Ning'Er. Gui Sha saw this became even more cautious. He felt it was too easy.

Although this artifact was strong, he didn't think it would be so easy.

He sharpened his senses waiting for an attack. When the fire cleared, he noticed the area where they were standing was surrounded by swords acting as a shield.

His eyes twitched seeing that, he mustered black spheres and threw them towards Tatsuya.

Tatsuya also conjured swords that clashed and stopped those black spheres. Shortly, even more, swords appeared on top of Gui Sha's head.

Gui Sha also summoned more spheres to block those.

If he wanted to live, he couldn't make a single mistake!!

He merged with Bloodthirsty devil, this devil spirit increases his speed and physical strength even his defense.

With this, he had the confidence to counter Tatsuya. He laughed, "You are strong!! If Demon Lord wasn't in seclusion he would be interested in meeting you."

Tatsuya stopped his onslaught. He gazed at Gui Sha, "Your leader?"

Gui Sha laughed, "My master has already entered into his secluded training, so the Dark Guild is managed by Long Sha and me for now. Once my master comes back from his training, he will show you an unimaginable pinnacle realm. Why don't you join us? With your strength, you will lead the Dark Guild with me and Long Sha."

Tatsuya gazed at him dubiously, "Did he find a way to surpass Demigod rank?"

Gui Sha felt something stuck in his throat.

Tatsuya nodded, "So, he hasn't. I have more questions but, I will ask them after I capture you."

With that Tatsuya merged with Bahamut.

Gui Sha saw Tatsuya donning a black and gold-colored armor. A dragon tail, wings made of swords appeared on him and, two long red capes with golden billow markings appeared on his back. A golden outlined black sword appeared in his hand.

Gui Sha felt a sense of danger that he had only felt from the demon lord. He was sure Tatsuya's strength had reached the same levels as the demon lord.

He already planned to retreat. It had been a minute since their confrontation started. He knew they had three to four minutes before everyone came and surrounded them. Looking at other members of the Dark Guild that were trapped, he knew he would have to escape alone. He could create doors of darkness for all of them but, that would delay him. He felt that moment alone was enough for Tatsuya to kill him.

He didn't delay anymore a vortex appeared behind him. He hastily jumped in to get away from that. A glint appeared in Tatsuya's eyes, a white light flashed and, the vortex disappeared with Gui Sha.

Xiao Ning'Er, who was in shock during the fight came out of her daze.

"Tatsuya!!"

She realized when Tatsuya was talking about peak power he wasn't talking about the enemy but himself.

Tatsuya glanced at the people of Dark Guild who were still trapped. His armor disappeared.

He gazed at Ning'Er, standing in front of him with a worried look.

He smiled while caressing her head, "are you ok?"

Xiao Ning'Er grabbed his hand, "I am!! why did the Dark Guild suddenly appear?"

"We can talk once we reach home. Here is still unsafe!"

After Tatsuya and Xiao Ning'Er walked away a group of people wearing black clothes and a mask. At the center was an old man. He was Ye Shuo an elder of the snow wind family. He was in charge of collecting gathering intel, assassinations, and interrogations for the Snow Wind Family. He was also the one that was in charge of the information organization that Miyuki built.

He looked at the scene and sighed, "As expected of young lord Tatsuya, even his strength is outrageous." He was sure he couldn't win against him. He was also a firm supporter of either Tatsuya or Miyuki becoming the City Lord. He was most disappointed when they expressed that they wouldn't take the position.

He looked at the Dark Guild members with a chill in his eyes, "Take them."

Far away from Glory City.

In the wilderness, a black vortex appeared and, a youth covered with blood fell out of it.

Gui Sha who fell to the grown coughed up blood. His whole body was filled with cuts. The moment he jumped into the portal, swords appeared from all directions and attacked him. If it wasn't for the vortex weakening their attack he would have died for sure.

When he was coughing a white-clothed handsome youth appeared next to him. He looked towards Gui Sha with doubt, "how did you lose so soon, did you fight Ye Mo?"

He just got the message from Gui Sha that he was in danger. He didn't think he would lose so badly, so soon.

Gui Sha let out a laugh while coughing, "No!! I met a monster."

The youth became curious hearing that, "Hoh!! To beat you this badly he must be really strong. Who was it?"

Gui Sha narrowed his eyes, "Ye Zong's adopted son, we need to ask sacred family more about him."

Tatsuya and Miyuki's courtyard.

Xiao Ning'Er was sitting on the chair drinking tea. Currently, she was fidgeting around, it was already night and, she was alone with Tatsuya in his house.

Tatsuya sat beside her, "That was Gui Sha, one of the leaders of the Dark Guild."

Xiao Ning'Er put down her cut, "Why did they attack us?"

Tatsuya sighed, "They wanted to kidnap you. To find out about the new training method of Glory City, that allowed you to become so strong." After all reaching Black Gold rank at such a young age.

There were many Gold Rank too in the young generation. Anyone would want to know about their secret.
