Chapter 20 - Tough? Battle

Tatsuya's soul force started flowing like water in the air. It started to cover more and more distance until it crossed 40m distance it started to dissipate.

Tatsuya started to think about his power. He thought about how when he was a bronze rank his range was only 2m. When he became Silver rank it. His range increase to 20m.

Now at 3-Star Silver Rank, it became 40m.

Tatsuya didn't have a problem with his powers getting stronger. His problem was that whenever he released his soul force in large quantity he couldn't control the range.

When they first came to this world they couldn't use their abilities other than their sensing abilities. It's not like their abilities were sealed rather it felt like the world rejected them.

As they grew up their abilities also slowly transformed. They adapted to this world.

When they reached Bronze Rank they were finally able to use their abilities. Miyuki was fine. Her Cocytus became the core of her soul ream.

It was him whose power got messed up. His both abilities became the core of his soul realm. They also became uncontrollable because of the instability generated by his powers. Only elemental sight remained the same.

His soul force had two characteristics decomposition and regrowth. It was the regrowth part that protected his body from getting decomposed from his powers.

Even so, if he let his soul force run wild for some time he will die.

Right now the only thing he could do other than destroying and recreating everything in 40m range was creating a ball size mass of energy on top of his hand and use that as a weapon.

He had an eye on a bloodline that might help him control his powers the problem was that the normal version was 10 million while the elite version was 100 million. There was also a king level bloodline which cost 1 billion. Most bloodlines in System were only of one type but few rare ones had different grades.

He wanted to buy an elite version since it didn't look like there was much hope for getting a billion points. He didn't have much time. Things were starting to get dangerous. The way he was now most of the time his hand would be tied. He wouldn't be able to protect Miyuki or the glory city.

When Tatsuya was thinking about his abilities and changes the roar of monsters came closer and closer.

Soon, they appeared in his sight. He could see Giant Blue Armed Apes appearing in front of him one after another. In the middle, there was the spiritual grade Ape.

Spiritual Grade Ape stared at him as if judging the situation then he roared in a low voice. With his roar few normal grades, apes jumped towards Tatsuya. Looking at them coming closer Tatsuya released his soul force. His soul force started to cover the area around him. It flowed through the air and covered every normal grade ape in his 40m.

As if feeling the threat Spirit Ape jumped back. Seeing his actions Tatsuya also started running towards him.

He cast Fixed deceleration on the Spirit Ape and Accel on himself. Before the spirit ape could react. Tatsuya was standing in from of him.

The Ape could only look at the gray energy creeping towards it.

Tatsuya looked at the Spirit Ape covered by his soul force then back at the forest which looked untouched and the Ape's that were standing like statues.

Tatsuya looked at the scene without changing his expression and started walking towards Miyuki.

While Tatsuya was 'fighting' Miyuki also reached Ziyun and the others. At this time they were surrounded by the members of the Dark Guild.

Yun Hua decon looked at them "Capture them, they are children of nobility. We will get a good price."

Nie Li looked at the members of the dark guild surrounding him with a frown on his face. Although on their side they had Huyan Lanruo who was 5-Star Silver, him and Ziyun who were 1-Star Silver Rank while two servants and the girl who had a good relation with Ziyun were Bronze realm.

Although they had 3 Silver Rank, 2 of them hadn't even fused with demon spirits. He planned to go back get benefit from increased prices of purple haze grass. Get his part of percentage from alchemy association and buy enough demon spirits to create some with god level growth rate.

Right now as they were they couldn't beat these people. He could only think of a way to make sure these people don't' kill them.

Just when he was thinking of a way to get out he and everyone in the group heard a voice in their head 'I am going to stop them in their tracks. Use that time and escape.'

Miyuki who was floating above them looked towards them and her soul force started to fluctuate.

Deacon Yun Hua suddenly raised his head to look at the fluctuations he could feel the danger approaching! "Step back!! We are under attack!!"

'Niflheim' before they could even process what they heard their bodies started to slowly freeze. All the silver rank froze up while those who were Gold Realm surrounded themselves with their Soul Force protecting them.

Ye Ziyun was amazed when she saw this. She didn't know that Miyuki could control Ice and this well.

Nie Li's eyes shrunk. He didn't think Miyuki was strong enough to hold back 3 Gold ranks and capable of defeating so many silver ranks at once.

'Run' This voice woke them up. Nie Li held Ziyun's hand and started running.

Seeing them get away Miyuki stopped controlling the area of Niflheim's impact. Soon, the whole area was covered by mist. If it was one on one even if it was 5-Star Gold Rank then Miyuki was confident she could kill him. But, with him having the support of the other 2 Gold Rank, she couldn't kill him.

She maintained the Niflheim for few minutes. She could see feel their Soul Force levels dropping. Seeing her Soul Force dropping towards the bottom she drank another Ether and teleported out of there.

Deacon Yun Hua and the other 2 Gold Rank were breathing heavily. They looked at the other members who came with them.

Yun Hua looked at the situation and cursed "Damn! What was that?"

No one answered him, the other two also didn't know what had just happened. They almost died.

For a long time, they didn't feel death was ever this close to them.

After sometime Gold 1 spoke up nervously "Deacon should we go after them?"

Yun Hua grunted "No need there are more noble kids. Let's go find them. Go release those trapped."

Although the ice was dangerous, people in silver rank had strong enough bodies to survive if they were released early.

People who were released from ice were shivering. Their bodies had burn marks on them. Yun Hua looked at them and frowned he was sure if they didn't have 3 Gold Rank they would have all died. They came here thinking this would be an easy target.

Yun Hua waited until Silver Rank Members finally had some strength in them. "Let's move, we can't catch these kids we can catch others."

After they walked a while they reached an abnormally quiet area. Yun Hua looked at the situation and frowned "Wait, something is wrong here."

He cautiously moved forwards after walking for a few steps. He saw an abnormally still area. He could see demon beasts standing there like statues. "Come!!"

Looking at everyone in front of him he said "Check the situation."

Every one of those people started to move around and check the situation. Shortly, they came back and stood in front of Yun Hua.

Yun Hua asked, "How is it?"

Most of them had a face as if they had looked at something creepy

Gold 2 came forwards and said in a creeped out voice "Deacon, everything here is dead."

Yun Hua furrowed his brows "what do you mean dead?"

Gold 1 took a green leaf "Deacon, this leaf looks alive." Then, he put some force into it.

The leaf cracked like a dead leaf.

Yun Hua frowned even more after he looked at that.

Gold 2 continued "Deacon, everything here is like those plants, demon beasts, insects, even soil. Especially those demon beasts their body looks completely fine. There is not even an injury but they are completely dead."

Yun Hua finally knew why they were creeped out. He hastily asked "Not even a single injury?"

Gold 2 continued "No, sir not even a single injury. It like they died standing. As if a God of Death touched them."

At this time Gold 1 spoke up. He sounded nervous "Sir, maybe we should retreat. Something is weird with this group." He didn't want to face the monster that did something to these beasts. First, they met someone who could have almost killed them. Although they weren't sure the one who did this was part of the group. But, whatever was it they didn't want to face it. They just wanted to get away from this area.

Yun Hua didn't say anything. He was busy thinking. Before he came here he was confident that they were just children. He could handle them, but now he already met someone who put their group in a bad situation, and now there was some else who was even more dangerous. He wasn't sure he could survive facing that thing.

"Let's go to Glory City. We should ask Sacred Family to collect some information and report this to people above."

What they didn't know was someone was standing there watching them. Tatsuya looked at them leave, he wanted to kill them but decided to follow them in hopes of some good information about Dark Guild but didn't think he would hear something this explosive.
