Take me

She looked at Michael, who seem lost in thought. She decided to tease him. "Or, I'll just look for someone else to teach me how—" Before she could complete her sentence, she was already in front of her, pinning her to the wall. She gulped as she didn't expect the sudden action. She wanted to back down, but it's now or never. "Are you sure about this? Don't forget who I am. Don't take my kindness for granted. I am a devil. I am giving you a chance to back down now," he said. He was holding on to the last thread of self-restraint. He knew he was a beast in bed. If it were to be anyone else, he would have taken her by now. He couldn't understand why he was being patient with her. He would rather endure the pain, than hurt her. Is this just him being caring towards her, or is this what they call love?

"I am not backing down. Take me. Please!"

He was unable to control his inner beast, he held her waist with one hand, while the other rested on the wall. He planted small kisses on her face. "Fine, then, I will teach you. Now, dress up, we begin tomorrow." He wanted to take it slow with her. "Thank you." He dashed out of the room, rushing. She sat on the bed and let out a long sigh. "I almost backed down," she thought.

"He-he, what happened? Did she push you away, or she forgave you?" Bruce asked.

"She… She was naked in front of me. She said she would rather not share me with anybody, and I should take her." For some reasons, his heart rejoiced, knowing that she feels the same way— not wanting to share her with anyone. "Did you? Tell me."

"No. That's why I'm here. Keep quiet and let me sleep, will you?"

"Fine, goodnight." Bruce closed the door and walked through the corridor. He felt someone staring at him. It was a faint one, as he sensed. He walked closer, focusing on that spot, but was distracted by the noise from the kitchen.

Stephanie woke up the next day, feeling a whole new emotion. She had forgotten— for a moment, about Inez. She took her bath and set out for breakfast. Michael sat in his regal apparel, he looked formidable. This was the first time, in six months, she has eaten with him, she always had her meal alone. "Good morning, your highness." He nodded and she sat opposite him. The maids brought in barbecue, pancakes, dessert, and tea. Stephanie began to implement her plans. She had read up in a book, how to make a man want you. She filled her plate with pancakes. She hadn't eaten enough last night, her stomach made growling sounds, and she stuffed the pancakes in her mouth. " You need to take it easy, or you'll choke." She looked up, and her cheeks flushed red.

She smiled mischievously, she sat beside him, "Dessert, pancakes, or barbecue?" He furrowed his brows. "Barbecue." She turned to see Bruce and the chief maid, who seemed to be waiting for her next move. She picked a barbecue with a fork, and brought it closer to his mouth. "Say ah," she demonstrated, slightly opening her mouth. He frowned and gazed at Bruce, who was enjoying the scene. Bruce gave him a thumbs up, indicating that he should go with the flow. "Be good, and open your mouth. Say ah," she repeated. She looked beautiful up close, with her red, plump lips. He opened his mouth, and she shoved the barbecue in to his mouth. "Now eat."

He could hear the maids giggling. The tip of his ears reddened. He decided to act naughty, and turn the table around. "I've decided. Lesson 1 begins now." He smirked as he leaned forward, she was not expecting the sudden turn around. "Stand up." He pinned her to the table, he was so shameless. They didn't need to be instructed, they all left the couple to have their space. "Let's go to the room." Her voice came like a whisper. "I am your teacher. I decide where to take my lessons, young lady." She braced herself up for what was to come, he closed the distance between them. She closed her eyes to feel the moment, but it never came. She slowly opened her eyes, he smirked, and she hit him on the chest.

"My prince." The army bowed down to him. "Any news?" He asked. "The palace still looks the same. The king is critically ill. It seems like they're new recruitment in Amadeo. I've never seen their faces."

"Is that all?" He wasn't satisfied with the report. He needed to satisfy his curiosity. "Crown Prince, Eris, was behind the attack. He and his ally planned the ambush, but his ally is difficult to track down." Bai said. He was sent to spy on Amadeo, Bruce had felt something odd. "Get ready, every one of you. War is coming."

"Milady, how are you feeling?" Duke Lennon approached her. "I'm fine, Duke. How do you do?" She smiled.

"Wow. Manchester is ancient, but it doesn't look ancient. Prince Michael must have done an impressive job."

"I have a gift for you. I'm not sure if you like it because it looks old. My best friend, the late queen, Ethel the first, gave me." He brought out a necklace with a scarlet dragon pendant. The necklace glowed, immediately it had contact with her skin. "Wow. This is beautiful, but I don't deserve it. It is special to you."

"No, I want you to have it." She thanked him, and kissed the pendant.

She went back to her room, smiling and jumping like a child whose mother gave her a Christmas gift. She sat on the bed, and caressed the pendant. She noticed the faint glow, and before she could think about it, she was distracted by a knock on the door. "Who are you?"

"I am Iryz."

Her eyelids became heavy, and she fell on the bed— into a deep sleep.
