Six months later, Eli Shan finally opened his eyes which shone brightly with a newfound comprehension of time. At this moment, Eli Shan could feel the time intent everywhere inside the cave. Realizing it, excitement surged through him as he acknowledged his growth. When he first entered the cave, he could vaguely sense something was amiss with the time, with the help of the universe's power. But now, after months of cultivation, he no longer needed to rely on external power to perceive these mysteries.

Even more thrilling was the realization that he had finally grasped a bit of time intent too! He knew that after cultivating this time intent, he would eventually acquire the ability to manipulate time itself.

With that in mind, he once again closed his eyes and immersed himself in the cultivation of time intent.

After some time, while Eli Shan was immersed in his cultivation, Xie Meng sensed something and opened her beautiful eyes, looking towards Eli Shan in shock.

Eli Shan, seated like a statue, was surrounded by a mysterious power that surged around him. A power that imprisoned Xie Meng for years but she could never understand was swirling around Eli Shan like a living being and was getting devoured by his body, akin to water being absorbed by a sponge.

A being devouring the power of time? This was something that Xie Meng could have never even imagined! This was like cheating! She couldn't help but continue to gaze at Eli Shan with a curious expression. "I know about the ability to devour power like cultivation, blood essence, and many other things, but to directly devour the time? What kind of ability is this? What kind of constitution does he have?" Xie Meng blinked her beautiful eyes in curiosity.

What Xie Meng didn't know was that even Eli Shan was not sure about this ability of his. He simply immersed himself in cultivation, unconsciously beginning to devour the time intent. By the time he came back to his senses, he had already devoured most of the time intent in the cave. However, he didn't open his eyes or celebrate; at this moment, he had only one thought in his mind – to devour every bit of time intent of this cave!

Gradually, as Eli Shan fervently continued to devour the time intent like a maniac, the flow of time within the cave began to flow slowly.

In the blink of an eye, an entire month slipped away, almost unnoticed. On this particular day, the cave suddenly began to tremble. Sensing the earthquake, Eli Shan forcefully snapped back to his senses and surveyed his surroundings, asking, "What's happening here?"

Xie Meng, standing beside him to ensure his safety, answered, "You have devoured the core of this cave. How do you think this cave will survive? We need to hurry outside."

Eli Shan nodded in understanding and rose to his feet. He locked eyes with Xie Meng, expressing his gratitude, "I appreciate your concern for my safety, and I apologize for having to hold your hand without your permission."

Xie Meng didn't understand what he meant, but soon she realized it. Eli Shan, in a hurry, moved forward to grasp her hand, but Xie Meng instinctively tried to dodge. However, in front of Eli Shan's speed, how could she evade it? Eli Shan reached out and easily held her slender hand. Xie Meng didn't know what Eli Shan was planning in his mind, and just as she was about to use her cultivation to break free from him, she suddenly felt a powerful force, a manipulation of space, leaving her staring at him in utter shock.

In the next instant, as the cave began to tear apart and crumble, Eli Shan and Xie Meng vanished from the depths of the cave, reappearing at its entrance.

This was the first time Eli Shan tried to transport with the help of universe power; even he wasn't sure if this transportation would be a success. And Internally, he was glad that it was successful otherwise... the materials from which this cave was created, could have killed him if it wasn't for his universe master power. But, even if he could be safe, so what? What would happen to Xie Meng? He chose not to dwell on it anymore, instead immersing himself in the spectacle of the cave's destruction.

Suddenly, he remembered that time had started to flow, and his one-day limit was about to expire. With that realization, he once again clasped Xie Meng's hand. "You can scold me later, but we need to hurry right now."

Before Xie Meng could even think what was happening, she found herself in a completely different setting, standing before a giant dragon.

But looking at him, instead of being afraid, she was actually shocked! Her eyes fixated on him, and then they began to sparkle. "A dragon! You're really a dragon! More importantly, you're a nine-colored dragon! I've only heard about that in legends!"

Eli Shan observed the scene from behind and was quite shocked. He had expected this innocent girl to be scared at the sight of a dragon, but surprisingly, that wasn't the case.

Upon seeing Xie Meng's enthusiasm, the dragon also started to pose, saying, "You, girl, have quite the discerning eyes. Yes, I am that legendary nine-colored dragon!"

Hearing this, Xie Meng's enthusiasm increased even more. "I have only heard about dragons from my master. He told me that dragons have good hearts and pure blood, especially the nine-colored dragon, the most stable of dragons!"

The dragon smirked, "You are well informed. You are right, Hahaha."

As they were talking, Eli Shan stepped into the middle of them and interrupted, "I apologize for disturbing you guys, but I don't have time to stay here anymore. I have to go back right now."

The big dragon nodded in understanding, "Sure, you can go back now. You have gotten quite stronger since the last time I saw you."

Eli Shan shook his head, "I still don't know how strong the peak of the origin realm is, but I will do my best out there."

Then he turned his gaze toward Xie Meng's beautiful face, and at first glance, he knew that she hadn't really seen the world. "Do you want to come outside with me?" Eli Shan asked with a smile.

Xie Meng didn't fully comprehend his meaning, but she nodded nonetheless. She didn't know why, but she had a feeling that she could blindly trust this person.

Eli Shan then turned back to look at the dragon. He thought of something as his smile widened, "Big brother, do you also want to come outside with me?"

The dragon understood what Eli Shan was thinking and replied, "Little Eli, I know you want my help out there, but do you really think you're strong enough to bring me outside of this universe?"

Eli Shan thought for a moment, then without wasting any time, he attempted to envelop the giant dragon with his soul universe power, but to his shock, as soon the universe power touched him, it dissolved into nothingness.

Seeing this, Eli Shan was genuinely confused, muttering, "What's happening?"

The dragon observed his puzzled expression and explained, "Little Eli, you can bring anyone inside your universe as long as they enter the portal. However, to take someone outside of this universe, there are some rules. First, you need a cultivation realm stronger than the person. And second, you need higher authority than the person you want to take out."

Eli Shan shook his head, "So many rules, tsk tsk."

After pondering for a while, Eli Shan turned back to look at Xie Meng. "I have some important work to do that will be challenging. I will bring you outside later."

Xie Meng nodded in agreement, "I am fine with whatever you want."

Eli Shan smiled and nodded. Then, slowly, he faded before their eyes.
