Hi there! What a surprise to see you here. Recce shouted.

Svetlana swung around. They looked at each other while he approached them.

'Hi champ am Recce.'

'What's your name?'

I am Kith.

Nice to meet you. Recce responded

Kith had a shovel and a bucket in his hand he bent down and started collect sand. Recce asked kith what are you doing? I want to build a castle will you come and help me.

Recce looked at Svetlana who was still silent . Her gaze fixed on him.

'Sure' but let me ask your mum first.

 Recce turned to her.

'How have you been?'

'Am good.' She answered still showing no interest towards him.

Recce took her hand and the moved a little further from the boy.

'I know we didn't start in the best of circumstances and am sorry about everything.'

I would like for us to start a fresh if you don't mind.

Hello am Recce while stretching his hand towards her.

She looked at him and saw that he was genuine and sincere. She smiled back and stretched her hand.

'Am Svetlana, nice to meet you.' Then they laughed.

Is it okay if i help your son build a castle, i used to come here every Saturdays with my parent when i was little so i have experience with this. He asked.

Yes it's okay, for me i have no experience with that furthermore he likes you. Which i have never seen him respondent to a stranger like that before.

'Children love me.' said Recce with pride

Recce helped Kith build the castle while she watched them.

Afterward they all went to play in the water helping kith collect some shell to take home.

Then they went to the restaurant along the beach and had cold drinks together. It was getting late and Svetlana had to take kith back home.

'We had fun today and thank you for spending time with us but we have to go its getting late this little guy has to be in bed early .' She told Recce. 

'Can't we stay a little longer mum.'Kith asked.

'No tomorrow is school.' She replied

Recce knelt and told him don't worry champ with mums permission we will do this again soon.

Kith looked at his mum with pleading eyes "please! please! mom."

 'Fine'. She responded.

The boy jumped hurray! They laughed.

Since we are friends now, can i atleast have your number? Recce asked.

'Sure no problem.' She gave him her number and they said goodbye and left.

Recce waved at them as they were leaving and thought to himself she is such a nice ,attractive woman and a good mother too. I wonder why Mika had to break up with her.

- Recce phone ringing_

Hello Mum! Your grandfather has been rushed to the hospital he had a heart attack. She said

'Am on my way.' he answered.

He ran to his Mercedes 4MATIC and drove as fast as he could to St. Mary Hospital. His mother was seated at the hospital waiting for the doctor's feedback. Recce arrived at the hospital as quick as he could, He saw his mother and he approached her, "How is grandpa and what has the doctor said?" The doctor hasn't come to give us an update yet we are still waiting.

A few moments later the doctor came and told them that it was a mild heart attack and he is even awake. And he wants to see you Recce. "Grandpa you gave us a scare", you have to take it easy from now on. Recce told him. I will his grandfather responded. You know your my only grandchild and heir, since your father passed away many years ago i have no one except you. At your age thirty two years old he had already had you If he had not married early my lineage would have died with him. So i want to change my last will and testimony if you will not have gotten married by next year or at all everything i own will go to charity.

"Grandpa but its too much to ask me to get married in one years time and am not even ready". Recce asked. Think about it Recce its up to you now. See you later grandpa, i love you and he left. Outside he saw his mother and their family lawyer. The thought " Grandpa is really serious about it". He went over to them and asked him why are you here, the lawyer responded your grandfather called and said that he wanted to see me urgently and i also want to see him we have been friends for long.

"Mum am going back to the hotel all me in case of any changes about his progress". Recce said. Okay i will don't worry i will be here. His mum replied. 

Outside in his car, Recce sat there for sometime, thought and replayed about the discussion he has just had with his grandfather. He had no girlfriend at the moment. His ex-girlfriend Michaela who he had date for long and serious about they broke up one year ago, he found out that she was having an affair with her boss. Since then he decided to focus on running his hotel business and he didn't want any serious commitment.

" Although Recce is Mika 's friend they are completely different, he is more mature ,fun to be with and her son likes him too". Svetlana thought. He is a good guy. Svetlana! Svetlana!. Lucia called. She was too deep in her own thoughts, Svetlana! Lucia was next too her. That's when She realized that her sister has been calling her. "Are you okay? Still thinking about Mika?" No! . Svetlana answered. Then what's up with you? Nothing. Okay! Lucia responded.

Can i sleep over at your place today i don't feel like going home today, we quarrelled with mum earlier. Please sister! Okay but tomorrow go make up with mum. "I will i promise". Lucia said.

Am off to bed, goodnight! Svetlana said. As she was done with showering and putting on her night gown. Her phone beeped it was a text from Recce.
