Unlikely Attack

"What do we need?" Lin said as the squad hid behind a giant rock.

"Well, the assigned potion is the Moore potion." Jasper picked up a stick, "The Moore potion is an elite-class potion that flattens out an entire area." Jasper drew a leaf.

"Nice drawing" Nana pointed at the leaf.

"Thanks, I've always wanted to become an artist." Jasper said sarcastically, "Anyway, since all of you guys are amazing alchemist and can't remember the recipe, the main ingredient of the potion is the Jangin leaf. It's got a unique shape with a purple stem, easy to recognize. However, the Jangin leaf is easily mistaken for the Khaayu leaf. They both have the same shape, the same colored stem it's just that the Khaayu leaf smells sweeter than the Jangin leaf."

"Can't we just eat it?" Adora asked seriously.

"Go ahead." Jasper was done with Adora, "With that said, you guy's know the main base ingredients of potions so we'll all try to gather as many Jangin leaves as possible."

The squad started to split up.

"Hey do you know where we're going?" Lin was tailing Nana.

"Yeah, I memorized the entire forest without seeing it in the first place." Nana ran through the forests, narrowly avoiding the trees, "See, its easy not to get hit in the face as long as you're confid-" Nana ran straight into a tree, as she turned back to brag at Lin.

"As you were saying?" Lin said with a smirk, "Just look straight, not that ha-"

Nana threw a rock at Lin's face.

Suddenly, the bushes started to rustle, both Nana and Lin went quiet.

"You hear that?" Nana got low, not wanting to make a sound.

"Yeah-" Lin's mouth got covered by Nana, as a giant ogre walked past the tree they were hiding behind, "HMMM!"

Lin could feel Nana's breath on his neck, holding him close.

"Grr..." The ogre walked past the two, completely ignoring them.

Nana grabbed rock and threw it, making a distraction for the two to get away.

"Run." Nana muttered under her breath, trying not to alert the ogre who had now inspected the rock.

The ogre picked up the rock and started smelling it, blowing its snot onto the rock, "Human." The ogre said.

Suddenly, Nana and Lin felt a large gust of wind behind them, the ogre swung its giant wooden club onto the ground.

"Gah!" Lin's feet got caught on a crack on the floor that was made by the ogre's club. As soon as Lin made a noise, the ogre appeared right in front of the two, his club ready to swing down, "Move!" Lin pushed Nana away from the oncoming attack, creating a large barrier to stop the oncoming attack, "Nana, aim for it's ankles!"

Nana slid underneath the ogre, "Take this, you big numpty." Nana pulled out a dagger from her boots and slice both of the ogre's ankle, springing up and tying her legs between the ogre's neck, stabbing both of it's eyes. Nana had a menacingly look on her face.

"That face looks nice on you." Lin held the barrier up as the ogre slouched on it, "He's pretty heavy."

Nana tightened her grip and snapped the neck of the ogre, pushing him to the side.

"God I wish that was me." Lin thought to himself, "Good job, we should probably go before the rest come." He told Nana.

"Do you have a towel? I got green ogre blood all over my hands." Nana asked.

"Here." Lin pulled out a towel from his pocket and handed it to Nana, the orb falling out of his pocket, "Oh, that must've slipped ou-"

A foot slammed onto the orb, the high heels slamming the orb deeper onto the ground, "When they say its indestructible it really is." Mika grabbed the orb from under her foot, "I wonder where I left this."

Nana charged at her instantly, imbueing her hand with magic.

A large shockwave echoed throughout the forest, the birds flying away.

"Woah, calm down lady, I haven't even introduced myself to your boyfriend." Mika's arm had been placed in a cross, blocking the oncoming punch but a hole had been blasted through both of her arms and a side of her face, "You're pretty strong."

Nana shifted mid air, imbueing her foot with magic and kicking Mika's abdomen, "You bitch!" Mika got sent flying straight into a tree, a branch piercing her leg.

"You've got feist." Mika didn't even react.

"Woah, who is this?" Lin backed away from Nana, he hadn't seen Nana this mad.

"Stay back Lin, you'll get yourself killed." Nana held the dagger in her hand in a reverse grip. "Pretty ballsy of you to ambush me during the license exam when there's S rank sorcerers observing."

"Oh I know, I'm not trying to kill you." She ripped her leg off the branch, and the wounds on her arms, abdomen and face disappeared in an instant, "You're pretty strong." Mika grew her leg back.

"Nana!" Lin tried to approach Nana.

"Run." Nana glared at Lin, daring him to take another step towards her.

BOOM!

Mika launched herself towards Nana, impaling her high heels into Nana's chest, sending her flying.

Lin turned around and started running.

"Oh, where's he going now?" Mika removed her heel from Nana's chest and appeared above Lin, ready to strike down, "Above you." Mika had a creepy smile on her face.

"You damn Dicere!" A sorcerer appeared next to Mika mid-air, kicking Mika into the air, "How'd you even get here?" The sorcerer seemingly teleported to where mika was mid-air, kicking her down back to the ground, "The names Vert."

"Agh!" Mika cried out in pain, "How'd the hell you hit me?" Mika got back up and stood on her feet, "Not bad for a human." Her abdomen had been completely crushed, ripping her clothes.

"Get out." Vert appeared behind Lin, grabbing him by the waist and disappeared, instantly reappearing with Lin gone, "Now that there won't be collateral-"

"There won't be a need." Mika pierced Vert's chest with her hand, crushing all of his internal organs, "Pieces of shits like you shouldn't talk." She kicked Vert away, his body rolling and slamming onto a large rock.

Nana ran towards Mika, throwing her dagger at Mika. Mika blocked the dagger, obscuring her view, when she put her hands down again, Nana had disappeared.

"Where the he-" Nana appeared beside Mika, kicking her head and decapitating her.

"Ignotus, will you please help me?" Nana was panting, she had injured her foot when she kicked Mika, "Get out will you!" Nana started hitting her own head, repetitively.

"Can't get him out huh?" Mika's decapitated head started talking, "You'd make for an excellent sorcerer. Too bad you won't be able to become one. I'm unkillable! You don't even have a career technique, you'll never be able to kill me!" Mika started laughing maniacally.

Nana walked towards Mika's body, taking the orb from Mika's hand.

"What do you think you're doin-"

Nana crushed the orb, the shards of the orb piercing her hand.
