Planting Oshimiri

In the days of the great festival of Ikoko village in otukwu community, the villagers threw an elaborate party to celebrate the greatest tree in the land named 'Kogin'.It was regarded as the greatest tree in the community and 10 years rooted underground.

During the period of this festival,a new tree has to be planted and left to grow for a period of 10 years.The people of Otukwu planted another one and called it 'Oshimiri' and left for their various home.

Oshimiri was a plant with so much blessings,it grew helplessly without watering,oh!how wonderful,it was a tree to behold with beautiful leaves around.The children loved playing around it after 5years of tremendous growth and with the help of a very beautiful shiny leaf it has,it was a magical one.Most of the villagers noticed it but only at nights.

Surprisingly,it was an innocent magic little leaf that grants wishes.

One night,Adarima the only daughter to the king of Otukwu community went out to relax for fresh air when she saw a shiny light far beyond and decided to follow it.She never knew it was Oshimiri the tree,It took her to the middle of the village square.

Adarima was amazed at Oshimiri and the beautiful shiny leaf and qazed in wonders.

She kept glancing and heard a fairy-like feminine voice.
