Bella and Ray arrived at the Williams resident, 7 pm that evening. Bella felt a little anxious about the dinner. Her hands were sweating. She kept wondering what would happen if Mrs. Williams asked them to break up just like her mother suggested.
She never thought that big families in the society had such strict rule about their heir. She silently prayed that the Williams had reconsider and no longer took the rule so seriously.
When Ray asked her to accompany him earlier she wanted to decline and wait for him to call her after his meeting with his mum, but she decided to follow him when she remembered that the waiting might have the same effect.
Mrs. Williams was surprised to see Ray arrived with Bella but she welcomed them with a friendly smile. Bella was someone is would welcome to her home and family everyday. She some how felt grateful that Ray was not giving headache like his father
