The letter

 Blair stood on the ladder the next day to clean the large windows of the hall, which were mostly done by the servants. Zephyr purposely imposed this punishment on her because she was caught with Helen sneaking food to eat.

The bastard king was the sole culprit, as he overworked her and gave her nothing to eat. "Cut off her feeding Shira" He informed the head maid what to do with her and she heard it. She was given a large amount of clothes to wash, a lot of dishes to wash, and a floor to sweep. The chores seem neverending! 

She repeatedly asked herself if he was truly punishing her for disobeying him that day by causing him to be struck by his sword, even though she didn't request it. Or was the purpose of doing it to weaken her and plead before him? 

She was determined to make him pay for everything he had done, regardless of what it was.
