Chapter 3:Fight in the Woods

Distant howls could be heard in the deep forest, a human form displaced into a wolf and started to run around the forest at a rapid pace. Turning in any direction to get away from his doom.

Unfortunately, he was not as fast as his brother who suddenly showed up from nowhere and gave him a mortal blow. The wolf flew back and struck the bark of a tree, it shaped-moved to its human form and he coughed up blood vehemently.

"You have nowhere to hide brother, what do you think you're trying to do? Trying to snatch my spotlight and get away with it?" A deep voice interrogated in the forest, its form also displaced in its human form.

Dorian retreated with his hand holding his chest as he coughed up more blood. "Stop your madness Zephyr, everyone knows what kind of King you would make. You would destroy the world if ever you get on that throne" Dorian succeeded in saying, he leaned on the tree while breathing heavily.

"Haha, you think a stupid beta like you is fit for the throne, while I... the Alpha should sit around aimlessly" Zephyr growled, his lips curving in a mocking smile. "Should I tell you something, Dorian?" He asked as he squatted to the ground. "You are sick in the head" He whispered with a laugh.

A burst of laughter that could upset the world.

Dorian began to trot backward when he saw his wicked brother approach him, "Trying to run away from big brother?" He went berserk and grabbed his brother's hair.

"Hahaha, isn't this our future king?" Zephyr mocked his little brother beneath him. As if he were unhappy with the pain his brother was going through, he tightened his grip on his hair, making his brother howl in pain.

"You know what Dorian, I'm going to conquer Neblon before you, and also" He leaned to whisper in his brother's ear, "I'll capture that third princess that you like so much, I'll use her just the way I want and destroy her right in front of you" He finished with a menacing laugh.

When the words reached Dorian's ear, he clenched the soil hard. At the mention of the third princess of Neblon, his senses became awakened. He clenched his teeth in rage and closed his eyes shut, the minute he opened them, his eyes glowed an amber color.

He used so much force to hit his elder brother in the face. Zephyr's face shifted to the left due to the impact. He stilled for a moment as he processed what was happening to him, his little brother had dared to hit him all for a woman?!

As an Alpha, Zephyr despised the fact of injuring his pride, the one who made it had just drawn the line of battle between them, and he wasn't going to stop until he destroyed that person. The same goes for his family, he would tolerate nonsense from no one.

"You... son of a whore" Zephyr grumbled, his eyes were red and a dark aura darkened the entire forest. It was so shocking that Dorian could hardly breathe. He started crawling on the ground. Holding his chest in deep pain, he could barely breath because of the aura that had enveloped the forest.

Getting to his brother, his hands tightened around Zephyr's legs, Dorian managed to look up into his brother's eyes and all he could see was rage. It was as if Zephyr was trying to restrain himself, but it was impossible, just his dark aura could reclaim his brother's life.. "Brother... P-Please" Dorian begged for his life.

Zephyr's eyes flared with anger, he struck his brother with his left leg that sent him flying through the forest, only to fall flat on his face.

Dorian was sitting on the ground with a broken nose, blood oozing from his nostrils and his whole body turned red because of the pain he was feeling, His brother still wouldn't stop trying to kill him while he walked up to him like it was the last mission he had in life- To kill Dorian.

"Brother... no...brother please"

"Silence you fool, you should have thought about that before laying your hands on me!" He yelled. His head cocked to the left and then to the right, and a loud crack was heard due to the friction. Dark hair like midnight began to come out of Zephyr's body and his claws burst out as well. Two Sharp fangs, pointed like a sword were in his mouth. His red-eyes blazed like never before and his aura became more intense.

With every step that he took toward Dorian, the latter could feel life slowly drifting away from his soul. He closed his eyes and awaited death from his brother.

There wasn't a point in fighting with his brother now, his brother could kill him without even trying. He dared not escape from Zephyr because if Zephyr had caught him while he was running, his death would have been double.

And there wasn't a point in talking to his brother now, resentment, and rage had clouded his being and nothing could stop him from doing what he wants.

Zephyr was closer to Dorian now, he lifted his hand to attack his brother but he stilled when he heard voices around him, they were ' Dorian's trusted guards' he presumed. "Your highness, back off from him!" Lynx, the chief guard that always protects Dorian yelled from behind.

Zephyr's eyebrows raised and a smirk appeared on his lips, "You're threatening me?" He questioned in amusement. He hadn't seen anyone as stupid as Lynx.

Zephyr changed his direction to the guard, "What if I don't?" He inquired with a slight cackle.

"Then don't blame me... Fire!" Lynx shrieked.

Next thing Zephyr knew, his head struck the ground. One of the things that could take any werewolf down was silver bullets and he had just been hit by the silver bomb they had developed in their country. It could take the strongest of the Alpha down and kill them, if luckily they didn't die, they would surely lose some of their powers and fragments of their brain.

Dorian slipped on the ground and passed out beside his brother.
