Baji Rao Ballad

As I entered the room, I was greeted by the presence of Balaji Vishwanath.

The anger that I had upon noticing someone else seated on the seat of my father evaporated instantly.

He was certainly well within his authority to be seated in the position of power.

Upon hearing my sudden and shocked enquiry of his name, the only response I received was a soft chuckle from his mouth.

Balaji Vishwanath " No need to be surprised, prince."

I did not know why he was in my father's study and what they were discussing, but it would be impolite for a member of the younger generation to continue intruding on a conversation between the adults.

As I prepared to apologise and excuse myself from the room, I was interrupted by Balaji Vishwanath once again.

Balaji Vishwanath " I was just being informed by your father of the real motive for such a grand celebration and I am quite surprised that a talent like you has so readily agreed to marry from such limited options."
