Double Elemental Qi

Xi Qiye's soul has left his body... literally. Right now he was trailing Fei Li and silver-hair veiled woman far away outside the Royal Capital.

Earlier, they had met up two more people of Sovereign Realm and a group of ten Emperor Realm Cultivators. They were flying towards the east of Kingdom at breakneck speed. Though Xi Qiye's physical body wouldn't be able to keep up with their speed even with his God-Level Movement Technique, [Fiend Wheel Movement], his soul was a whole different matter altogether.

"Young Miss Rou, is it true that the mysterious box contains a sealed soul of Saint Level Beast?" Fei Li, who was flying near veiled woman inquired curiously. Seems like after his initial scare, he has returned to normal... at least on the surface.

Young Miss Rou calmly shook her head. "That's what I have heard from Sect Master. And by the looks of it, it seems to be true. But I can't be sure."

'Sect Master... it seems like Miss Rou's relationship with her father still hasn't melded after so many years.'

"Other than that Fei Li, I am curious as to what you have experienced at that restaurant." Her voice had an intriguing tone to it.

Fei Li faced turned unsightly instantly, remembering the disgraceful display he portrayed under a Body Refinement Realm brat. "I don't know, at that time, I felt like my soul would split. Probably he had some dreadful treasure on him. The next time I meet him, he will learn his—"

Abruptly, everyone halted. They and their entourage surrounding them spread out their awareness to the peak.

"Yo! Sorry to keep you waiting." With a flash, a group of fourteen cloaked people appeared in their sight. Most of their faces were covered, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out who they were.

"Does Neither Sword Sacred Ground really want this item that much? They even send out six elders at Sovereign Realm and eight at peak Emperor Realm. Do you really want a war with us, Immortal Earth Sacred Ground?" Fei Lin surveyed opponents with heavy eyes. This wasn't looking good for them.

"Heh. You probably don't understand the value of that item, but we do. It would better be off on our hands." One of the figures in cloak moved without warning; it was a Sovereign Level Powerhouse.

A black sword materialised in front of him, radiating with Evil Qi.

Shriek!

The sword moved at lightning speed, shrilling through the air.

Young Miss Rou was about to respond but paused her action a second before.

Clang!

A broad sword comprised of dense Earth Qi appeared in front of her, blocking the sneak attack effortlessly.

"Humph. The first attack on our Miss. Appears as though your actions do speak for your notorious reputation." The broad sword flew back in the hands of Fei Li.

"Tsk. Everyone attack her. Take the box!"

The playtime was over, all of them lurched at each other. Sword flew, and blood splashed; techniques were fired, and organs blew apart. Battleground became bloody within in an instant.

Scope of a battle between Sovereign Profound Realm experts was bound to be on a massive scale. Geysers of rabbles flew high in the sky, destroying the land beneath for tens of kilometres.

While the bloody battle seemed played out, Xi Qiye's was quietly watching Young Miss Lou. She hadn't made a move since the beginning, merely watching.

"Argh!" Another of their entourage died by the synchronised attack of two cloaked men.

Finally, she made her move. Her arms raised high, Water Qi in a flash convened on top, levitating freely in the air. Within two seconds, the ball of water took shapes of fearsome giant spears and was subsequently fired off. Along the way, water froze, turning into ice. Hundreds of arrows bombarded towards one of the Sovereign Realm Expert.

He promptly put up a shield, it was made of Fire Qi. In the battle of ice and fire, the Ice attack by Young Miss Lou easily penetrated the shield and punctured the opponent's chest. Several other spears followed after, only leaving a butchered corpse.

'Ohh. She has trained in two types of elemental Qi.'

After one reaches King Realm, they can then begin to cultivate their own soul, and when one reaches Emperor Realm, they can start transforming their Heaven and Earth Qi to a specific type of Elemental Qi.

Elemental Qi was principally stronger than Heaven and Earth Qi, you can turn your Heaven and Earth Qi that you had absorbed from surrounding into Elemental Qi.

Since Elemental Qi of a certain element can only be found in certain regions, gaining epiphany on them is a strenuous goal.

It is certainly possible to gain an understanding of multiple elements, but you need to have extraordinary comprehension ability. Adding the fact that most King Realm experts are never able to understand even one element, essentially ending their cultivation journey; understanding two elements seemed like climbing the heavens.

Even Xi Qiye in the past only had command over four elements: Darkness, Poison, Yang, Blood. And it took him centuries for each element.

So, Young Miss Lou's ability to understand two elements within her relatively young life was a genuine surprise. But again this was a Middle-Level Realm, the difference between a Lower and Middle-Level Realm's recourses was quite big.

Coming back to the battlefield, even though Young Miss Lou commenced her attacks, the situation was grim. Most of the cultivators on each side had died, other gravely injured. She and Fei Li were the only one from her side, while the other side still had four Sovereign Realm experts remaining. One of them was fighting on par with Fei Li, leaving three who were fighting against her.

They were shocked when even their combined efforts didn't seem to faze Young Miss Lou by much. Her graceful and powerful dance with Ice and Water was slowly but surely rendering them incapable of fighting back.

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, all three of them flew away, forming a triangle with her in the centre.

A threatening aura arose from all three of them. Young Miss Lou cold eyes shifted, turning even colder. They were self-destructing to everyone's surprise.

Xi Qiye also had an odd expression. 'Why are they self-destructing? Even if they can't win against her, they can still exhaust her easily. The frantic look in their eyes is unnatural.' His senses shot, peeking a bit into one of their souls.

But before he could reach there, a resistance which shouldn't be possible with their untrained low soul strength stopped him.

'[Soul control]? Someone in this realm knows this technique? If so, it's most probably the master of Nether Sword Sacred Ground.'

Completing the inspection, Xi Qiye again focused on the battlefield while his mind thought of different scenarios this could pan out.
