THE QUEEN

The auspicious time came the ladies had their hearts in their mouths but the announcement of the winner would be made after coronation of the crown prince so his pick would be the queen of the strongest kingdom.The king stood up and took off his crown and the loyal sword together with two diamond rings which was an inheritance of kingship every king had a special one all this items were placed on a golden table the crown prince was called forward and asked to kneel in front of the king and the ceremony started "I king Belial of the ice kingdom handover my power ,my responsibilities as a king,and my kingdom as a whole to my son the first born of my lineage the crown prince of the kingdom this crown is a symbol of knowledge and power ,this sword is a symbol of strength and wisdom and this two rings which are a protection of the loyal family are all his now " with that the crown prince bowed and the crown was placed on his head with the loyal sword his wrist was cut as a sign of accepting all the responsibilities of a king then the legendary song of the kingdom was sang welcoming a new era of young power .It was now time for the king to choose his queen,"all of you ladies has show great qualities great wisdom great abilities all of which are important in a queen, I want not only a partner but also someone who is able to solve great problems who is able to treat all the people in my kingdom as one someone who will bear all the trouble's of the kingdom as theirs someone who in my absence will be king and with that the most fit candidate for queen is lady Ivelisse of the lights kingdom ". for a moment the hall went silent had the king made a mistake maybe had he been under pressure when choosing did the cursed illegitimate child bewitch their king as well .

Ivelisse could not believe it her the queen..?? was this king dumb or did he not know her but didn't all kingdoms hear about her then how she had challenged him to remove all possibilities of being chosen and here she was . after a minute of shock she stood up and looked direct into his eyes he held out his hand for her to hold his queen she elegantly walked towards him their long black cloaks covering them like a huge blanket he took off the black gloves from her hands and slid the diamond ring in her finger she was now betrothed to the king who would have thought she would ever be queen, the king lifted her hand and placed a kiss on her hand , that simple gesture felt like an electric shock through her body she shivered a little but did not let it show , the great song of the kingdom echoed through the walls of the hall as if welcoming the queen, the mother queen stood up walked towards her and whispered "now our kingdom is upon your hands treat it as though it was your own child then she took off her crown and placed it on her head she was now queen Ivelisse not a brat anymore whatever her fate held she was now on the receiving end .. how many more surprises does this life hold? she wondered.

That was the end of the coronation ceremony the king led the way as they walked out off the hall to their own chambers.

Do you think our son made the right choice? " " I don't know my king he had his own reasons and no one could ever make him change his mind " " I wonder if that was the reason he asked about her earlier he already knew what he wanted at the very beginning " " I think you are right we just have to wait and see how they manage the kingdom "

Ivelisse opened her eyes and stood she couldn't fall her asleep her insecurities couldn't allow her to even she tried and comforted herself in any way she walked over to the bed and saw he was sleeping soundly, she stared at him for a while .. how could the most cold hearted person look so calm in his sleep like a harmless kitten his face void of emotion even in his sleep his long lashes making his face look more handsome in an attempt to stretch her hand to touch him she felt her hand held tightly " you want me now and u can't even sleep in the same bed with me" "it's not what you are thinking you have something on your face I just wanted to remove it" "remove it then let me see what it is " "okay so what if I was staring at you...
